Why ? what the fuck are they thinking ? I want all of them and I will have all of them but I'll never have the time to play all them so I won't buy all of them ( at full price ) and I can't show my support to those series with my money because I don't have that wallet power, that is so stupid, some of them are finished and released in Japan for months/years, I just don't get it, what's the point to release all those games in the same damn week, even the same day for 4 of them ? Most of them are send to death and it's pissing me off, I can't choose which game I will support at full price now...

Are you in the same situation ? What games are you planning to buy or support this month ? do you think publishers need to stop sending their game to a certain death before complaining about no support from the West ? I can only choose 2 "exclusive" games max this month so I hope I can find which game to support before the deadline...

Edit: I forgot Dragon Quest VIII and Atelier Shallie Plus...

I'm glad that we don't get dead periods like we used to, great games come out throughout the year and it's great.

End of fiscal year is 2 months later. 2months is okay to sell some copies, and less can be difficult if you did not put the money some big companies put in the marketing of February/March games.
Also, you should see that they do not come from the same editor, so "they" is actually 5 different editors...
Basicaly, reason is money.

The dragon will return. Re is too different for me to be certain it will deliver, kh2.8 seems unlikely to deliver on the price content wise and gravity rush 2 will be purchased once I beat the first game which I started a while back.

It's down to Yakuza 0 and Resident Evil 7 for me. It's a hard choice for me, too; I can't buy (let alone play) everything at launch!

At the end of the day, though, Sega probably needs the money more than Capcom.

Tales of Berseria will have to wait until later, too.

Tales is a favorite series of mine but I may have to skip out.

Getting Yakuza 0 to give the series a chance.

I'll wait a bit for KH 2.8 but I get every KH game.

Was considering getting a PSVR and RE7, but I may hold off on that if Switch really impresses on Friday.

RE7 has priority. GR2 later. Then down the line Yakuza 0 as my first game in the series. Don't care about the rest.

The only other 2017 week with a chance of beating this one is Switch launch week.

It's a good thing I hate everything on that list except Resident Evil 7. Still unsure about Gravity Rush, but I may get it later on down the line. No change of me getting Yakuza, kingdom hearts, or Tales as I dislike all of those. The GameCube version of Tales of Symphonia was my last love for the series. The demo for the newest one did nothing at all for me

If it has good WoM, Resident Evil 7 is gonna kill it. Great month to be a gamer. RE7 is my first major VR purchase of the year, if it still holds up its promise to have an amazing VR campaign.

RE7 and Yakuza Zero for me. I want Gravity Rush 2 real bad and want to support it but I can't find it priced under 40.

The rest will be later date or sales.

RE7 is going to crush sales so I hope Zero and Gravity Rush do well enough.

Yeah it's pretty bad, I'm getting KH 2.8, Y0, and GR2 day one and I will wait a bit for the other two. Thank god I made use of the Visa checkout deal from BB, getting these for $40 each helps a lot and is the only reason I'm even getting three of them day one.

Just remember. You don't have to buy every game day one. Just buy the ones that you are for sure interested in and complete that first. Chances are all of these games drop in price after a couple of months.

I'm picking up DQ8, GR2, and RE7. Never played a Yakuza or Kingdom Hearts game and not really feeling ToB but I might get it when it gets cheap.

What about March?

Nier, Mass Effect, Switch + gods know how many N games at launch... critical hits to the wallet

That's why I'm only buying one game (Digimon), by the time I'll be done with it (probably 2/3 weeks), the other ones will have dropped in price already.

I hope to play all of them at some point this year. KH and RE are must-plays though.

2. RE7

i'm only getting DQ8 because i want to see what's up with DQ (haven't played any game of this series and my only experience with the DQ universe is Fortune Street)

Right now I'm just planning on RE7 and possibly KH 2.8.

I've never played a Yakuza game before. Is this one a good place to start?

Resident Evil 7 day O. Gravity Rush 2 is a buy, but maybe not at launch because of RE7.

Kingdom Hearts when it is super cheap.

Yakuza probably never.

It is annoying as I can really only focus on one, my choice being my first yakuza

Will buy gravity rush when it gets cheaper, will get KH once I get and complete the other had collections, and maybe resi 7 if it ends up good. Very difficult for people who love all the franchises

Dragon Quest VIII is cumbersome shit in comparison to most other games mentioned in this thread. And a remaster. New games >>> remasters, as much as I like a good remaster (which DQVIII isn't purely because of the shit midi OST).

I still need to beat Yakuza 4 so imma hold out on 0.

I still need to beat Xillia so imma hold out on Beseria.

I just beat Gravity Rush 1 so imma hold out on GR2.

I've been waiting for the follow up to Birth by Sleep for years now, so imma go with 2.8.

I'll get them all eventually. Except for RE7 because I am a wimp when it comes to horror games.

Gravity Rush 2 and Dragon Quest VIII are the only ones I'm considering getting day 1. The other two I'm interested in, I can afford to wait for a price cut.

Sorry Yakuza, but I need to get through 5 first, and Kiwami is out in a few months which I'm definitely getting. I already have Kingdom Hearts 3D on 3DS so I don't need 2.8 right off the bat.
