Launching the Switch with one game

I still don't know what this thing will cost or when it will be available.

I'm guessing probably 2999:- and maybe sometime in April? Who knows. Nintendo apparently doesn't. Which is kind of...

The whole presentation and focus of this console just seems so oddly similar to the Wii U. You would think after that disaster they would have learned their lesson and pivoted, but it feels like the same combination of "Here's a few bones for Nintendo fans and Oh yeah Casuals please put down your iPhones and come back to us!" Right down to the token western third party support (replace Mass Effect with Skyrim) I just don't see anything so far that makes this more compelling to the general audience that rejected the hell out of the Wii U. Nintendo better have a lot more wildcards up their sleeves for the post launch period.

This presentation wasn't the knockout Nintendo needed. Fans did a better job hyping themselves up than Nintendo did.

I'm obviously going to buy it in the longer term, but there's no reason to buy it at launch if you have a Wii U

That's it? Lol.

I tried to remain positive but that was terrible. I can't see anyone but Nintendo fans wanting to buy this.

BOTW launch date announcement not enough to save that shit show. Seriously, do they think launching with BOTW will make up for not having shit else at launch? wtf Nintendo?

I completely agree. I found it to be a pretty disappointing presentation apart from Mario and Zelda. They needed to give the launch lineup and show *many* more first party games.

lmao was that it

They showed absolutely nothing to make me want this system on march 3rd

maybe by 2020 when the games I want are more than concept art or 3 seconds of a guys hand
