Bad presentation, they didn't even show the launch games. Zelda trailer however, was probably the best game trailer I've ever seen.

Xenoblade 2

No more heroes ????
Dragon Quest

I want to fucking know the 80 more games.

The presentation was so meh but oh well....

Probably the worst console presentation I've ever seen. Any interest I had in getting this day one went right out the window with those translators will to live

Does anyone find it funny that they kept showing off Mario Kart without saying it existed? lol.

Overall that wasmerely ok after the long wait. I guess this fully confirms no girl Link. RIP in piece.

Splatoon 2 looks better than I ever imagined. My game of the show.

3D Mario looks fucking awesome.

Arms also looks fucking awesome but I want to use Switch mainly as a portable so unsure on if I'll get it or not. Hopefully theres a non motion option.

1 2 Switch local only, not packin. I mean...wat.

No packin and $300 fucking sucks. Eesh.

Charging for online sucks, also I will never get PS+ because I can only afford one subscription. Paragon you will be the only PS4 game I'll play online for the forseeable future. Hopefully its cheaper than $60 a year.

March 3rd date was so early! YES!

Zelda will be all I need for awhile but overall it was lacking in surprises. Even not counting the leaks I always expected Splatoon 2 and 3D Mario to be shown.

I want good looks at UI, Activity Log confirmation, etc.

I'm definitely not as excited as I thought I would be. I'll probably still preorder but I'm a little weary. Nothing about VC stuff either. I guess those are the details we might see on the site?

Wasn't able to reply to everyone condemning my thread title.

Zelda looks great. I look forward to playing it on my Wii U.

Splatoon 2 isn't a launch title.

like the games announced but they needed more meat for launch.

still Zelda and Mario Kart will be enougn for me...a person with multiple consoles (april is Persona time too) and money to blow.

for everyone else?

yeah don;'t see why you'd buy one right now.

This is what i feared. This board will be shit for the next 3 months...and that is a bummer.

What a terrible, terrible let down. I was going to pre-order the system but honestly, I'll wait.

They could have KILLED THIS and they failed miserably IMHO.

I'm out for now. Will get back at it in a couple of years to see if the Switch is holding its own and has some interesting games by then. What a way to fuck it up Nintendo, and yes, I was paying attention.

ZELDA. M-FING-EPIC!!!

That being said, I loved the presentation minus ONE translator but

1-2 Switch = yes
Arms = Maybe
Xenoblade 2 = YES
MARIO ODYSSEY = GIVE IT TO ME
ZELDA = IN MY VEINS PLEASE!

So I was really excited about the Switch but because they didn't show me 20 games in this presentation and I'm unable to engage in any forward thinking I've decided that I won't be buying a Switch and the console will fail.

yeah hype for pre order has gone to zero, I might pre order but probably cancel if the launch lineup isn't strengthened. I don't really care about zelda, I was more into MK8, DKTF, Mario Maker, and other top wii u games I never got to play.

Especially since you 100% know more custom skin switches will be released in the holiday that will probably be way cooler, come bundled with a game, and be cheaper.

As someone who's been critical of Nintendo and the switch even I was surprised at it's price point plus paid online fee.

Thought for sure it'd at least be cheaper then the xbox s.

Lots of pros and cons from this conference. It was very off putting at first with the whole emphasis on the motion control stuff. Then it was saved by that Zelda trailer.

Not worth it at launch. Seems like I will have to wait a year. It's not like I have a shortage of games to play in the mean time....

That was awful, two launch titles? One of which no one gives a shit about.

I'll probably just get Zelda on Wii U.
Yeah like, I don't really understand what I will be playing if I buy this thing. I love the concept, but man the execution is not good.

Shocked at the lack of prepared material from third parties. That's what too the energy out of it for me, at least.

I'll still get it sometime this year, I'm sure. For sure by the time Mario comes out. That said, it looks like this will have a much better launch year than XB1/PS4. Here's hoping.

1st Switch and Play Event

New York Sunday, January 15, 2017
Time: 10 a.m. ET (Doors open)
Location: SECOND floor, 849 Avenue of the Americas
Note: This is a secret venue and is not listed on map programs. The entrance is located one door south of the Hotel Event main entrance (towards 29th street).

So I would say the overall presentation was mediocre, But I still love a lot of the games showed. Zelda, Splatoon 2, Mario, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, SMTV?, Arms. Hell even 1 2 Switch looks like it will be fun for family get togethers.

But they seriously need to hire someone to better handle these presentations. Don't let NCL handle them again.

I'd say something about the launch line up, but I was seriously going to probably only get Zelda, although I can understand why it's annoying for them not release it now. I guess the launch line ups are different for each region so they are announcing them separately later.
