I know. Haha. It's okay.

All that matters to me is that I love this game and I'm glad it exists!

It emphasizes to me that fresh ideas for stories in AAA games still can be great!

I forgot to mention that I appreciate all of your impressions. That goes for everyone who has been feeding us footage and so forth. I am absolutely awestruck by this game.

I need to figure out where I'm putting my Aloy statue...I'm out of display room, lol.

Edit** Also, I'm almost done with Uncharted 4. I'm going to finish it this week so I can go into Horizon without worrying about it.

Wow fantastic reviews , I can't believe people were saying this would be trash . Jeff's 5/5 is crazy and has sold me even harder on this game.

Oh, so it's pronounced Ale-oy?.... Um... I'm calling her Alloy (like the metal)... sounds much better to me and rolls off the tongue way easier... Sorry, Guerilla. Kind of like Fi in Skyward Sword. I call her 'Fee' , not Fi. I remain ignorant. =P

Damn, pretty good scores overall. Congrats to Guerrilla Games. I'll pick it up as soon as I finish Nioh, hah.

Looking back at how far they came from with Killzone on PS2, I'm pretty glad Sony stuck with guys all the way.

Hmm looks like it turned out really well! I'll definitely grab this sometime between Yakuza and Persona 5. Glad it's good, thought it was going to be kind of middling like Tomb Raider or something.

From the USgamer (2.5/5) review:

The view from the tip-top of a Tallneck is often breathtaking. ...This is a bad example though (sorry).

My reaction: Why are you posting a bad example in the first place? What's the point?`I really don't get it. Is this supposed to be funny?

Awesome reviews and exactly the meta score I predicted in the other thread. 😜

Is there one video review that's really good? I don't have much time to look through them all.

These reviews have gotten me to take notice of a game I otherwise would have passed on. Watching footage of Horizon it just looked like an extremely pretty Ubisoft-style openworld game. That all seems totally fine but outside of strong art direction nothing about Horizon seemed all that special. Reviews seem to suggest that there's more to the game than that. Unfortunately, the timing of its release is such that I probably still won't actually check it out for about a year from now.

Killzone 2 is at 91 metacritic. And no, I will never stop reminding people of the awesomeness that is Killzone 2.

It sounds like she wasn't able to make it look good in a single screenshot. I've run into that problem many times. Calm down.

I believed in this game, and still do. Just like I do Ni-oh. I want to play it, but I cannot, as there is a different beast on the horizon.

Insert Hyrule Field theme.

On the bright side, both games will be cheaper down the line.

Didn't have any faith in Guerrilla. Happy to be wrong.

They have always shown that they have tremendous talent, even if you did not like Killzone. Besides, they have grown quite a bit since Killzone 3. Hopefully now they will get more of the recognition they deserve.

The scores I expected. Really fantastic stuff. I wish Guerilla had been allowed to make something like this years ago. Let's hope this leads to more gameplay-focused game development from Sony's AAA studios outside Japan.

Now I really wonder how the players will perceive the game. Will the familiar open world design prove too tedious to truly elevate the game to the all-time greats? Or will its visual fidelity, engaging gameplay and apparently good story be enough to dismiss its similarities to other open world games and make it something special?

I doubt we will get another Killzone. So all I ask is that we get the Killzone Collection remastered like The Nathan Drake Collection, but with multiplayer from 2 and 3.

Or 2001, or 2015

I think this year will surpass 2015. If Red Dead, South Park, Another Bethesda game, Assassins Creed Reboot + An Ubisoft Pirates game, all release in the fall, and that's on top of Zelda, Mass Effect, Prey and Persona 5 in the next couple of months, and fuck that's mainly the single playerish titles, you still have your Destinies and Cods. This year is stacked AAA wise.

Shadowfall was absolutely terrible and they COD-chased too much with the MP in KZ3. That's why their reputation wasn't as good recently.
