Real Design from Japan, bought from local store here in Hawaii. Zelda Limited case fits perfectly inside
I just impulse bought the Nintendo switch Keten hard case because it was discounted from 30 to just 8 euros and it seems to have a lot of storage in a very compact form factor.

Has anybody else bought it? Is it good?
I was going to buy a case like the ardistel ones which fit the switch with the joycons attached to its sides but, because my joycons are very slightly wobbly, I'm afraid that a drop or somebody sitting on top of the case with the joycons attached might damage the rails and increase the wobbliness. I also think that the cases with the joycons detached will feel smaller and easier to find space for it in any kind of bag. What do you guys think?
I should receive it in Thursday, I will let you guys know if it's any good.
For 8 bucks I would've jumped too. Damn. I have read that with similar cases you want to play around a little with the pockets and spaces, a lot of people chuck the joycon holding pockets.
Can you take some pictures?I went with this in Brown
It looks like it will is a little more versatile that the keyboard bag, can hold everything you need, and has some cushioning inside. Couple of reasons I went with the bigger one is that I can put my charger, phone, joycons the entire switch & pro con in there, and throw it in a backpack or bag and travel with it. On to of that the middle pocket fully opens and folds out flat for easy access.
Can you take some pictures?
Having a hard time as well, Netherlands. Anyone in Europe who knows where you can buy or import one? Amazon.com doesn't ship it to here.I want the butterfox but it's hard to get in the uk , if not impossible.

So... a case for your case for your Switch?

What's the most recommend case that has the slimmest profile for a simple outing? So, pretty much just the console itself and the cons.
That's looks a lot like the case that I got from US Amazon. I haven't taken it anywhere yet, but it seems like it's going to be a pretty good case.Anyone tried this? Looks a little cheap.

I'm torn, I'm interested in both the Hori and the RDS case. I see good and bad for both on here.
Edit: went with the RDS as it is in stock on the Nintendo store and the positive reception it has here. Can't seem to find these in Canada though other than online it seems.
Should I get the basic black RDS case or will the Zelda themed ones work?
Amazon has some RDS for $43 but zelda's are $20, not sure why the price disparity if its the same case design?
I'm about to buy one now, 7 left on Amazon for the basic black

One is sold by Amazon and the other one is not. I'd wait to get the RDS black case at its regular price once it's back in stock on Amazon or check out a different retailer.
You're overpaying at 43 dollars, by a lot.
Hey everyone! I finally got this edited and published, sorry it took me way longer than I had planned. I call this the Nintendo Switch Case-Off!
I compare the Official case, the HORI Tough Pouch, PDP Case, RDS case, and the PDP Backpack. Hope this helps some of y'all make a choice!

Pretty sure the lower indentation on the RDS case is so that the rear vents have room for a bit of heat to escape a bit if you put a system in there after a prolonged gameplay sesh.

Just got my RDS case (the "plain" one). Seems solid!

Nice vid, thanks! Looks like I made the right choice.
I can't watch your video for some reason.
Woot! FYI, I found this out the hard way yesterday, the joycons are friggin FRAGILE. My Switch (in the RDS case) got knocked off a table maybe 3ft and in the process the left joycon damaged its connector and can now pop off with minimal force like in the Giant Bomb video. This was in a fully cased and zipped up RDS case. So if even that thing can't protect the joycons from a short fall, nothing else will (other than a hardcore, padded pelican case maybe). The combo of metal and plastic in the Switch is just a recipe for easy damage. I learned my lesson. I still think the RDS is the best case by far, but damn these joycons are fragile.
That's why I decided to go with a case that doesn't keep the JoyCon controllers attached to the system. The rail connection is obviously the weakest point in the system (as it should be) so I think keeping them detached when traveling is the safest way to go imo.
My wife made me a cool Zelda Theme softcase. Sorry for the horrible pic.

It actually is, if playing portable. The only problem with that is you have to disconnect the Joycons every time you pack the Switch, then reconnect every time you unpack. I would find that annoying, personally.
