Hoping there'll be a demo/testfire before launch.
There will probably be 8-10 characters, which is just enough I think.
I'm sure they're purposefully saving a few reveals for e3.
If they use any time at E3 for ARMS, they've already fucked up. E3 should be for games in the future, not those imminently releasing.

No string/rope character yet, or would that be too obvious?
If it's anything like the Gundam VS series which is primarily 2v2 as well, it's probably just a "switch target" button. Easy peasy.2 v 2 is surprising given the controls based on circling and auto camera, but I guess they have a way to work it.
They fucked up by promoting it at the biggest annual gaming event days before it launches?
Min Min design is amazing. (that beanie!!!) I'm so hyped by this game.

The best idea for an unreleased game that hardly anyone has played is to ha e the game be played in the biggest gaming event of the year just a couple of weeks before its released.
This is almost a spiritual successor to virtual on. And if one day we get that game on switch I will thank this game for it. But you know, if all you are interested in is to be wowed by some cgi trailer then it's up to you.
This game could be the next smash brothers or the next splatter for all we know.
If they get little mac in there as a cameo it would be a bonus.
So is ARMS joycon controls only? Or can it be played with the pro controller or with the joycons attached?
They've said it has regular controls. I would say it's safe to assume that includes pro support. So is ARMS joycon controls only? Or can it be played with the pro controller or with the joycons attached?

Fun fact: The emblem of Min Min is 麵. It means noodles and pronounces as Min.
Is it too early to declare Minmin as best girl?
Love her design.
But she's Chinese. It would be mian...Minmin sounds better though.
I guess the single player mode is that kind of arcade mode punching targets game?
