The good parts of Halo with the good parts of Destiny sounds good to me.

I know games with loot and RNG are really bad for me and I can't stick with them long-term, but putting some more effort into the linear stuff is a big plus for me.

Can someone who's sunk a ton of time into Destiny 1 explain what you're excited about? It looks really great, I'm just curious what you notice that looks cool/new etc. What makes you look at this and go "Oh shit". It would help us non-Destiny 1 players. Excited for PC.

Hipfire in D1 has random accuracy. This seems like Halo 5 where you can ads or hipfire with no penalty. Fixes a LOT of the weapon balancing issues they had.
