Sure, I don't want it to be Halo either, we need variety - was more observing that 4v4 isn't innately good or bad in itself, and that Halo (and other games, but given it's Bungie) had more variety. D2 will lack that if it's all 4v4.
The issue was the quality and the variety of the content ( outside the main story which was non existent ) not the amount. Patrolling was boring just like public events. There ware not even good rewards for doing them.

Didn't watch any of this just reading a bit on it now.
So from what I'm reading... Destiny 2 is basically the content of a new expansion? No new classes, only 4 worlds, only 1 raid, PVP is downsized, QoL improvements more then anything, ect.
Are fans happy with this? Seems pretty damn shallow for a whole new game :/

Well people somehow want the game to be fully open world, look as good as Horizon Zero Dawn, run at 60fps, and have 100s of people in a seamless play space while running on the OG PS4 and Bone.
Like idk what world people are living, but it ain't the real one.

What? Just about any modern mmorpg or survival game would disagree with you there. I said a 100 or so, that's not a huge number, hell plenty of old FPS games supported 64 players over a decade ago...
The graphics of Destiny are nothing to write home about, it's no where near Uncharted/Witcher 3 levels.

This thread is interesting it's like a two way tug-of-war between people who wanted drastic changes and those were content with more of the same.

It really doesn't. It's a giant step up from anything in D1, and that was already pretty great.

I think QoL and Exploration changes (bigger worlds, much more to find and do) are what really separate this from D1.
