I've seen phone manufacture do that too. Its not uncommon.

T shirts tho that say Today I Witnessed The Most Powerful Console......well....

If those shirts came from MS...

They are rolling out the red carpet for this like its next gen.

If I hear the next generation of.....anywhere in the conference.....

The Only IP that big is Minecraft 2 and that game is not good showcase for "the most powerful console" and there is Zero chance to make it Scorpio Exclusive to move consoles... PS4 is Killing the Xbox right now... and $499.99 is not a good strategy at all...

Yes, because a company would totally sign for a deal to keep their product of the console who's outselling the competition at least 2:1 at this point

On a serious note. I really hope they are not doing this or have some killer peripheral and pack in to wow us in an hour. I would have bet the farm on a $399 price-point.

Doesn't matter how powerful it is Sony will have a "4K" console for cheaper and with an established library. £449 not a good look for Microsoft to compete with.

Never mind dropping the price of the PS4 Pro. Sony need to worry about people knowing it exists, first.

No matter what the price is they could never change the tide. Outside of the usual US/UK not many people really care about the xbox brand. It's should be common knowledge on a dedicated gaming forum by now
