They are playing in handheld mode. The feed has been 720p60fps for everything though that I've seen. Might be to accommodate handheld mode.

Yikes. For those that missed it. The difficulty maxes out at 200% but you can only manually set it to 100%. It goes up 5% from where you originally set the level when you clear full rounds. So you have to keep winning at from 100% to get to the max.
Mario looks above 720 at least imo. Maybe 900. Esp when Toastatara town is being played.

I was certain a resolution upgrade was coming since both undocked and docked mode was 720p.
However, I was preparing to settle for 900p. 1080p is a very pleasant surprise!
Seems like Switch have already accumulated quite a number of 1080p-60fps titles. PS4/XB1 were pretty disappointing in that regard, especially during their first year.

I thought you can't pick weapon online, the game gives you the weapon. and the salmon rush just now is an event.
yes you can play Salmon rush with 2 players locally.

Salmon Run confirmed best mode, and I love Rainmaker. Holy crap I can imagine putting so many hours into this mode alone. Looking forward to Salmon Run events as well.

I don't know if its definitely after Rabbids, but the official NOA reddit account responded to a user question today saying the chances of new titles being revealed were "pretty good" - so its going off a little more than that random debunked tweet at least.
I don't have the link still available, but im pretty sure the question was specficially about "new title reveals" - would think that would mean a game as opposed to say, yet another amiibo
