So vague it could mean anything, lol.
I wonder what that could be, it could probably be Recore DE. Maybe AOE related, maybe the people thinking that MS got Crackdown out of the way before Gamescom to lessen the blow with good news (new game) were right? not going to get my hopes up though.
The listing is for xbox aoe4 wouldnt get released for xbox, so this cant be codename hollywood.

I mean, it could. We don't even know if AoE4 exists, let alone what form it's in.
That said if it does work on console it probably sucks (or, at least, it's not the 4 resource RTS I'm hoping for) so I hope you're right.
Halo Wars 2s codename was Hogan. So perhaps another Halo game?
Imo they would have brought the aoe 1 remake first to xbox to do a test run, zero chance for aoe on xbox

...why on earth would they do that? AoE original would be a TERRIBLE fit for a controller.

The codename also sound not like a rts to me, dont know I would choose something diffrent for a aoe game as codename.

This may be stupid but I actually really want all of the RTS games ported to Xbox One. Age of Empires 1,2, and 3; Age of Mythology DE, Rise of Nations DE, and more. I just don't have a computer anymore.
I know it's dumb cause it would be hard to map to a controller but I can't help it.

PS install base too big for missing out and I doubt MS can pay that much for full exclusivity.

Unless they think it will be a minecraft-type success for the MP shooter audience. Then they even might consider to buy the studio if possible (IDK).

I'm gonna be skeptical of any PUBG impressions, since the floor will probably have XboneX systems, but I'll be playing the game on a base Xbone.
I'm really curious to see how it's optimized, if there are UI changes, how the guns feel, etc.

well, if they think PUBG can become something like Minecraft, then they wont buy it and make it exclusive to their platforms, just like they didnt do with Minecraft

A great game that would bolster their console exclusive options. Plus a great developer to work with.
Xbox doesn't have the balls to pull that kind of deal anymore.
I miss the 2007-2012 Xbox, it didn't pull any punches.

Their vision has changed, and I think Phil was caught in the middle and by surprise. I think a Phil under Ballmer would absolutely wreck, he's got great ideas but Nadella has him on restraints. Less funding + a change of direction towards the cloud/service based software/ecosystem. Nadella doesn't want to compete with PlayStation, he just wants to tie Xbox into Windows, a value-added for Windows customers.
Would be money well spent, better than $400 million for NFL.

They are also wrong because before there wasn't so much of a possibility of digital releases, so being retail only excludes a big trend.
For instance, at launch Ori, which is one of the best games Ms ever published, wouldn't be counted because it was not retail.
