You know there must be one dude in Japan who thinks less of his friends if they don't watch Rick and Morty with Roiland's original performance.

Well Resident Evil for example wasn't voiced in Japanese until Revelations 1 because the crew thought English sounded cooler and fit better.

Do people even watch that show there?
Only weebs hate dubs. Most people like to hear media in their native language.

No because the Japanese can voice act.
Cowboy Bebop disagrees with you. So do Dragonball Z and a couple others I can't remember.

Are you asking if Japanese people like watching anime with an English dub? Why would they do that?
100,000 people proberly watch some cute girl watch it on one of those weird sttreaming sites
I'm sure there's some Anglophiles who love to watch everything in English to learn the language, but I highly doubt that's normal...

Wouldn't the better question be "do Japanese like to watch American cartoons with English voices"?

Don't forget G Gundam and HetaliaThe Ghost Stories dub shatters any argument that dubs are bad.
As far as I can tell, they're getting a very different experience out of the Japanese dub...

Only weebs believe this.
It's not the fault of English voice actors that Japanese dialogue is fucking horrendous. I legit get embarrassed when I listen to some of that stuff.
Watching anime with subs and original VA seems to be largely a result of the American fetishization of Japanese culture, so probably not.
プーピーバットホール
This only happened with 2-3 seasons I think. I think Lughtspeed Rescue was one. They Dub American Power Rangers into Japanese and give it on TV in Japan.

I watch Japanese media in japanese
Spanish media in Spanish
French media in French
German media in German
English media in English
Except a good dub will usually make a substitute that makes sense as opposed to just leaving it as an inferior experience.I'm aware of all of these issues, but the dubbing process doesn't particularly fix this either so I'm not sure what you're point is or why it's "better' to view it dubbed.
I don't particularly like the sound of Japanese. I just prefer watching all media in its original language.
