My god if your rating drops is it difficult to get it back up because you're banished to the lobbies where everybody goes out of their way to hit each other.
Should have never done races on that shitty oval last night.
The demo is constantly crashing on my Pro, is this a thing?
yes, many suggestions on how to fix it but none have worked for me. multiple people have said they're on pros too, might be related.
can you try something i didn't think of last night and turn off Boost Mode. see if that works.(not near the ps4 to try myself)
Wait a minute, there's a rating in the game? How exactly does it work? Is it like Iracing?
lol well I would... but after booting up the game it crashed as soon as I went into options.

https://blog.eu.playstation.com/201...t-gran-turismo-sport-before-you-start-racing/For those that are curious, the matchmaking is based on three key metrics:
Driver Level – Your driver level increases with XP gained in races.
Sportsmanship Rating (‘Sport Mode') – Just like in real world driving, we want to reward those that drive, and race, clean. So stick to the track, and limit the number of collisions to secure a positive sportsmanship rating.
Driver Rating (‘Sport Mode') – Starting on E, you can build towards achieving the coveted ”A" rating – but watch out, a bad sportsmanship rating will limit your ability to progress.
I deleted the game save and the game never crashed again.

the boost mode on ps4, the one that gives games like bloodborne better performance. its in settings
- deleted game save
- finished driver training
- finished missions
- sport mode time trial
- wait 15 min in menus
all these did not fix the issue
Well stick to that then! Seriously some posts are a joke
No dynamic weather, time of day, lame AI. Driving games have seriously moved on
Are PD having a laugh?. They can't get 200 cars in the finish Sports that's despite the team working on the game for 4 years, now the Team say they're going to double the number of cars, well maybe in 8 years time then.
Yes, the game looked amazing for Car models, but in almost every other area the game is seriously outdated. It feels like I'm playing GT on my PS2.
Just did a 0:44 flat in the kart on the Kyoto Driving Park event, what's everyone else's times looking like?
Has all your tries to go into the settings menu been from the main menu screen?
What fixed it for me was doing it from within race event screens and after that it worked from main menu too.
Gran Turismo |OT| Grand Tourismo
I believe PD built Sport from the ground up, so it took 4 years to build the cars and the rest of the game. Now the game is done, they will have more people free to work on cars, which should speed things up, so I see no reason why they can't get a good amount of cars into the game faster now.
Oh god, this would drive me mad if I had to see it all the time!
So what are todays Sport Events? I see the Karts are in, what else?
When I turned it off it was Karts at Kyoto Driving Park (Miyabi), Gr.1 in one of the Tokyo Expressway variations and I believe Gr.4 at Interlagos.

You know what so good about sport mode?
Nobody talking shit or playing music through the mic. Thank you PD.
So I just now noticed that the the online mode, or Sport I guess, has tracks not available in Arcade mode in the trial?
Any reason to worry that the release game would have some tracks exclusive to Sport mode? Wasn't the '8 things you need to know about GT Sport' article kind of muddled about select tracks being available in single player? And in exactly what was playable offline and without PS+?
Also makes me wonder if this could be a kind of free-to-play model which would still allow them to sell tracks without splitting the community. All tracks available in Sport mode, on rotation, with players needing to pay for track DLC to use it in Arcade and custom races.
Of course I may be reading too much into things, but my spidey-sense just kicked in.

I noticed this too, but how?
Is the deluxe version worth it?
PD track record (pardon the pun) is pretty lame on that front. 4 years and offering a game with fewer tracks, fewer features and fewer cars than the comp is pretty poor.
In the PS and PS2 days, they were the best, since the PS3 they seem behind the times. Mind you the Car models are the best and the HDR support is the best I've seen on my LG TV too
Shortcuts to things (cars here) that can be unlocked by just playing the game are never worth it in my opinion.
What does Gr.1 and Gr.4 mean? I also saw that there was a Gr.X
I think voice chat is simply blocked in sport mode.
As it should be.
