Aww no why was this thread bumped? We all know it's just been restarted so we wont see anything teased at least until late 2018/ E3 2019 even

Sucks how far away this is. The Witcher 3 was meant to be the start of a stream of great AAA WRPGs, but then both Bethesda and BioWare dropped the ball. CDPR seem to be the only ones who know what they're doing this gen.

So, just a little "update" that I'm sure many will find superfluous, but still...

Apparently, Mike Pondsmith himself lurks Reddit, and this is what he had to say some 10 days ago...

There are a lot of very tall, dangerous Polish guys who would kill me without a second thought if I talked now. But here's what I can tell you. I just got back from Warsaw and what I saw was incredibly awesome. We're pulling out the stops on this sucker.

Huh, old news is new to me, never read any of the information released on the game, I had only seen the trailer way back when.
"Style over substance" as a core theme sounds dope and all, but doesn't that sound incredibly contradictory for a role playing game with a ton of depth and options?

As you say, it refers to the theme, not the mechanics.

I remember seeing the teaser trailer when it came out and thinking "Well, here's a game from CD Projekt I might actually enjoy", because, back then, I never managed to enjoy any Witcher game.
Four years have passed, The Witcher 3 came out, I spent over 100 hours on it, I loved it, and we still know as much about this game as we did back then.

Fuck.

^^ pretty much sums up my feelings towards this fucking thread. I was fine dammit, I even completely forgot about this game and that wasn't a part of E3. Now I'm scratching this motherfucking itch again.

I can certainly understand being frustrated by bumps that don't have any new information to share, however bumping this thread after it'd fell silent for almost 14 hours to say as much probably isn't the best approach. ;)

Is it, though? Fighting fire with fire doesn't really work here as the people who have bumped this thread without new info are unlikely to care about someone else doing the same thing. ;)

Anyway, looking at some posts in this page, I don't understand people who are upset when this thread is bumped with minor, relatively unimportant stuff. That's all you're going to get here. If something meatier were to come out, be sure it would have its own dedicated thread.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Gamescom 2018 interview
Some tough questions leak important info. Huge in length, bigger even than Witcher 3. There is a possibility that we see Android companions, in which we will be able to remove parts. Graphics that we've seen in the behind-the-scenes gameplay video will change, especially in the enviroment. Also the game as crafting, a big variety of weapons and weapon scaling according to rarity.



Also we might be able to have more than one companions in battle. The game will be released as fully single-player but it seems that the existence of various forms of multiplayer (definitely Co-op) is not ruled out.
