80 million for a Playstation is a failure, and the Vita was almost as big a disaster as the WiiU. I completely understand why Sony would decide not to waste time and money, as well as dividing their output, on a third device guaranteed to not gain any real traction.PSP sold like 80 million units. It’s true though, it’s extremely hard to got to bat against Nintendo in the portable space. It will be interesting to see how Xcloud does. It’s unlikely it will get much traction but who knows.
Gamepass meanwhile is all marketing hype.
There's nothing to suggest it will be any less of a failure than Stadia and every other game streaming service that has ever or will ever exist. It just can't work properly.
Expect it to be talked up like it's the inevitable future of gaming by every mainstream media outlet and fanboy until it hits the market, only to mysteriously stop being talked about within 3 months, then only vaguely referenced again in MS earning calls thereafter.
