DMC5 is the second worst game in the series:
It is a huge step back from DMC4 in every way aside from the move-set. Even the Ninja Theory game is better than DMC5.
Playing as "V" was bad enough to single handedly make DMC5 a bad game.
It has boring and one-dimensional level design.
The worst enemy variety (they are just blander versions of the enemies you face in the previous games, they all look indistinguishable)
DmC is good if you skip the cutscenes.
Hell and hell is easier than DMD.
Nero had cooler hair than Dante.
DMC4 movie would be better than any of the resident evil, street fighter or monster hunter movies.

Wew lad. Now that's a hot take if i've ever seen one
>It is a huge step back from DMC4 in every way aside from the move-set.
I somewhat get what you mean. The enemy design in 5 is really passive compared to prior games whilst 5 has the more fleshed out movesets on the other hand.
What really grinded my gears with 4 however is how bad the second half of the game was with those wormhole enemies that keep popping up everywhere. Touch one and you get sucked in to a loading screen into an abyss where you kill swarms of boring plant enemies to come back up through ANOTHER loading screen. And also Dante who wasn't designed with the game in mind and as a result feels awkward to use. His movekit is also by far the worst in that game I would say. Gilgamesh and Pandora are very clunky for one and those two make up a third of his kit.

I swear, I must be the only person who actually liked playing as V lol. The summons may feel unresponsive from time to time but I really like how you can juggle with the demons like they are your weapons. You can even read a book whilst having them fuck shit up!
>It has boring and one-dimensional level design.
Yeah, I agree there. It's just corridors.
>DMC4 movie would be better than any of the resident evil, street fighter or monster hunter movies.
Agreed 100%
