What exactly in their review do you take issue with?
Have you read the review? It is like the dude is forced to play it and now is blaming it on the game. Small bit:

Around 30 to 40 hours in, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks to be a victim of Nintendo’s obtuse marketing strategy. From hearing next to nothing about the game to getting almost too much information in the weeks leading to release, the suddenly fast-moving cloud of information was mixed too quickly into a pot already simmering with speculation, reaching a boiling point that had people making concrete claims from vague assumptions.

How is that Nintendo’s fault?

The rest of the review is more ridiculous.

"Nintendo has delivered an impressively polished, complete game, that looks and runs better than I ever expected. I encountered NO bugs or unexpected behavior despite the complexity with simulation and everything just feels meticulously crafted. With the state of AAA games these days, playing something this polished and complete at launch is extremely satisfying." - Digital Foundry.

Attention seeker for sure. I saw the game, I hate the route BOTW take putting Zelda franchise into open world, but thats not mean TOTK is a 6/10 game.

Is this the same dumbass that said 'we need to play more 6/10 games?'
Yeah definitely not a 6.0

Dude is seeking for atention

I would personaly rate it at 8.5/8.75 from what Ive played, and I would give 8.0 to BOTW

And the dude that said that "we need to play more 6.0 games" was from Gamespot

Expected, but still disapointed to see that reviewers are affraid to give anything lower than a 10 for overhyped games

And I swear to God, I'm not a console warrior. GOW Ragnarok, for example, is far from a perfect 10.

(I've played some hours of TotK, btw)

But for those who enjoyed BOTW, they will love TOTK, thats for sure

I'm just disapointed to see such bloated scores with big releases lately

Yeah now people can rest about performance.

Incredible. What a feat on essentially a tablet.

Didnt even say that I think the game is bad. Just overhyped.

Stuff like not being able to fuse items in your inventory is enough to not rate it a 10, considering how often you'll do it during your playthrough

You have to select the item in your inventory, drop it on the ground and then strike it with a weapon in order to fuse them

Not saying the game isnt good, not saying that it doesnt do a lot right. Just saying that it doesnt do everything well to garantee a 10.

As most games dont, especially the ambitious ones

But this kind of response is expected on this kind of thread

The Nintendo review buff is the strongest of all. Nothing will change that.

They must have spent like a year of devtime just playtesting this.

Curious if they’ll keep building on top of all this going forward. Just adding a new element must break like a trillion things that’ll have to tested.

I agree not good from a consumer perspective to have such hivemind agreement and this goes for all games.

I don't even mind the perfect 10s some variety would be nice though.

How is that Nintendo’s fault?

I read the review from top to bottom. That is ONE segment of the review about the obtuse way - and expectation setting - that NINTENDO engaged in. "How is that Nintendo's fault - " How is how you're communicating what the game is anyone's "fault" but NINTENDO's?

. . .and where are you getting "forced to play." The reviewer played the game, saw that it was more of the same of what they didn't like and scored it appropriately (with actually anecdotal evidence to back up their opinion). You're pulling out something in the beginning of the article (just a coincidence and not because the full article wasn't read I'm sure) absent of all the context surrounding it. The crux of this score is based on I'd say a few factors, none of which is the grousing from the reviewer about the muddled "expectation setting" of NINTENDO.

The rest of the review is more ridiculous.

Such as?

i will get a lot of hate for it but i was watching the IGN review and they mention (like BOTW had) performance issues but then give it 10/10 ? something´s not right here...

Looking forward to enjoying the game with my kids. You can complain all you want about review scores but BotW was absolutely a 10/10 for my family. It's not often that everyone is playing the same single player game at the same time in my house.

I can't wait to play it either, I would play it right now but I want to do it correctly. Without shader compilation.

I tried emulating BOTW as well just for fun in the lead up to TotK, it does look nice but I'd never want those issues my first time playing the game. I even downloaded a precompiled shader pack to try and alleviate it -better but I was still compiling shaders in the first area just by doing stuff they never tried out. For all the tinkering around and ending up with stuttering, I ended up thinking it was better to play it on console. Made me decide to avoid emulation on TotK entirely (at least for my first playthrough where I want to focus on the game itself and not its current state on PC/fiddling in Windows).

Between the Switch's poor performance and the technical headache/shader compilation on PC, it's a game where your experience is gonna be marred for some reason or another, which is unfortunate. But I'm as done waiting as you are, give me the game already lol
Idk what version you did but Cemu has 0 compilation stutter if you click on a certain setting. I had it at first then googled and then it ran with 0 hitches for my 100 hours played. I can’t speak to the switch emulators though.

People talking about review buff and i feel like its kinda true but its not like +10 points. Surely without the Zelda tag it wouldve been less, but 91/92 it would reach anyway. So whats the point? Its bound to be a great game. No need to cry because the number is bigger then Elden Ring number. Bloodborne scored lower then Elden ring and is better... Just take these numbers as an indicator. High = likely a good game, low = likely a bad game. And go from there. Dont fight over 2-3 points on a website. Lol.

Its surely a great game and cant wait to play it whenever i can play it in 4k/60. Not gonna do it on base switch. 1080p/30 is a nogo for me personally. Dont support this with my wallet anymore.
So i gotta try and dodge spoilers as good as possible for a while :p

To me, it's a great game but held back by ancient hardware, relies too much on the building mechanics, and some of the novelty from the first game has worn off at this point.

For the most part, it’s the exact same bio-diverse world you explored all those years ago, only with more natural caves, a sprawling underground chasm, and frankly too many rock formations in the sky to really care about. New tales are spun throughout it, yet each one has a disappointing air of familiarity. Breath of the Wild’s fiddly controls are pushed further to the breaking point, all in an effort to stack more systems on top of those that split the fanbase almost as much as Toon Link.
What you want them to do? Have a new Hyrule? It is a direct sequel. That’s like complaining that every sequel every is similar to the one before it.

Too many rock formations is like complaining that BotW have too many shrines. You are not forced to do them.

Fiddly controls? How would anyone play more than 1 hour and not adjust to the controls?

But while it’s true that some dedicated social media enjoyers got a lot of mileage from physics-based shenanigans, plenty of us were left thinking the traditional Zelda experience was being sunsetted in favour of the “do it yourself” gameplay approach.

The reviewer want the game to be something else and complains about it. Review the product as is not what you want it to be.
