A well choreographed and animated opening scene doesn't change the fact the episode is poor. It's like saying BRS is good, because it has well animated and choreographed fight scenes!

How is the episode poor? really I couldn't think of a better introduction for a series like Bebop, it more or less has all the signature elements the series is known for from the stylish direction, the jazzy music, the excellent choreographed fight scene and so on.>_>

Its pretty obvious that people only stick with Brave10 for Isanami.

Sorry, but I can't take anything seriously from someone who still thinks Bones can make a good show.

I'm trying to wrap my head around calling Ep 1 of Bebop a poor episode. In what way? Especially with the weakest episode in the series following, Stray Dog Strut.


Lupin PV looks great. Love the music, the art style and it just oozes cool. I might be committing some sort of blasphemy but i kind of want a big hollywood budget adaptation some day. They would find a way to ruin it but it but a man can dream.

The art and animation shown in the trailer reminds me A LOT of Kanashimi no Belladonna. It's not very frequently used as a full animation art direction, and it looks like a moving painting instead of "anime". If the actual show looks like that.... wow.

Finally! Wish the quality of the video was better, but regardless, the artstyle and music are gorgeous. It has a Belladonna of Sadness feel to it, which can only be a good thing.

I had been afraid that what I wanted out of the show would be background but once realizing that, I managed to at least continue to watch in hopes for those moments. I do hope it changes next season but at this rate I doubt it.

I thought it was our second time hearing and seeing it, in a previous episode. It was integrated in a nice way to conclude this arc.

He, Saizou, and Sasuke were my favorites, cant remember either having a dull moment, cant wait to see this finale.

Which are all ending within 1/2 episodes. Nichibros is ending tomorrow which is another stab in the heart. Scat dance can't maintain my weekly comedy dosage.

This show smells like money... but it does look a bit less dumb than guilty crown. Berlin wall. Seriously? And the potential for yaoi/yuri shit is pretty high.

These mecha designs are awful... but the gattai music is pretty awesome.

The level of japanese mecha design of modern days do seem a bit lacking. I blame the CGs.
