Part of me wants to see Territories as the new gametype so we can see if 343 decided to go back to the Halo 3 scoring system and if they made any feature additions for it like Oddball and CTF.
I'd also be cool with a new new gametype. And if that is the case I have a feeling it would be the gametype that will meet the craving of Invasion enthusiasts. Either way, looking forward to what is being shown tonight.

Anyway, I was thinking about streaming this GTTV episode like I used to back in the day. If enough people would like the stream I'll at least make an effort to set it all up to do it.
The covenant have 2, UNSC may as well have 2. I think a giant kukri would be pretty interesting.
I never liked that about the UNSC sandbox, none of their weapons are very interesting. We're in the 26th century and most of their infantry weaponry consists of boring rifles.

I think a completely overhauled "territories" (probably won't even share the same name) is likely.
Not totally sure what I'll be doing in an hour 45, but if I'm around, I'd definitely tune in and ban juniors..er I mean participate in a discussion.

Aren't you one of the guys who dislikes the Spartan Laser?
Also, finally got around to watching the purified Covenant weapons video. Most of them sound like human weapons with silencers, the Fuel Rod sounds like a mortar, and the Gravity Hammer lacks its classic "oomph". Sword and Carbine sound fine though.
The Spartan Laser is basically a charge up sniper rifle with a lot more aim assist.
I don't find it creative or interesting at all. It's just... a laser.
The covenant have a weapon that shoots needles lol. Even their rifles fire unconventional projectiles in unconventional ways.
What about the grenade launcher from Reach or the railgun from Halo 4?

Definitely a step in the right direction. Don't forget the sticky detonator as well. Speaking just for Halo 4, I appreciate the direction that (most) of the UNSC weapons have been taken. They all look more a little sci-fi than they did. Although I want to see them go even further. I thought Reach's realistic approach was a nice change of pace, and at first I thought I wanted all Halos to look that way. I was wrong.

Guess I'm HaloGAFs Concussion Rifle defense force. I love that thing in Reach. It's always the first thing I run for on Countdown, and I try to hold onto it whenever I can. It's great for killing shotgun or sword users since you can pin them in corners if they're camping, or bounce back the sword's lunce.At least we get the concussion rifle that throws people around even more... right guys?...

I'm glad it's getting a physics boost in 4, but worried about the clip reduction. Hopefully it stays useful. I have a feeling the faster projectile speed will help a lot, especially against vehicles.
Oh yeah it's definitely useful (although really frustrating to fight, your screen shakes and flashes red and orange), but it's no pro-pipe.
Oh god I wish I could find that youtube video of that kid using the concussion rifle doing boost jumps and assassinating people......going to look for it now.

That will happen if you use HDMI. Are you using a Blackmagic? Do you have component cables? (that will bypass the copy protection)
Oh for real? The output to TV would have to be HDMI but input I can I've got some HDMI cables lying around. Oh boy crunch time.

I know that the sticky pistol is more similar, but the fact is there were two grenade launchers in Reach and 343 brought forward the crappier one. I know that the concussion rifle isn't the replacement for the pro-pipe.
If your capture card supports component in, using that will bypass any copy protection since it's an analog signal and not a digital signal (like HDMI). With an analog signal the cable box has no way of telling what it's plugged into, so it's always just outputting a raw signal.
