To what end and purpose?
.
Am I the only one who wants a sequel to Colosseum & XD ?
They were rather cool after all, what is Genius Sonority doing these days ?
Cash money? I dont know really, its just makes sense that a portable game would be enough to go on Iphone/Android. I mean SE is putting their FF5 DS remake on IOS soon for example.
Cant see why they wouldnt put a pokemon they have allready made on it for easy money. Tack on the online trading from the new versions using 3G/wifi tech and boom $$$

Also companys allways say "big new important announcment" for even the most boringly dull ones liek the pokedex app.
SE is third-party. They don't have their own dedicated handheld console.Cash money? I dont know really, its just makes sense that a portable game would be enough to go on Iphone/Android. I mean SE is putting their FF5 DS remake on IOS soon for example.
Oh man, it just hit me;
If a new mainline Pokémon game gets announced, Japan will receive Dragon Quest VII, Monster Hunter 4 and a new Pokémon game within the year. Japan will die.
Or hell, Pokemon Stadium 3.
Pokemon Stadium 3 on Wii U, Pokemon in 1080p.
Packaged with USB peripheral to insert 3/DS carts to play handheld games at triple the speed.Pokemon Stadium 3 on Wii U, Pokemon in 1080p.
The problem is Pokemon spin-off don't sell nearly as much as the mainline Pokemon games.Wonder if they have it in them to make a Skylanders for Japan in the form of Pokemon.
The Wii U, NFC tech, and branding would ensure that it slaughters over there.
My personal hope is for some co-op Pokemon Snap on the Wii U. Would be cool to have one person control the picture-taking on the Wiipad (with option gyro functionality) while a second person can bait, stun, etc. to line up pictures for you.

Same here, I'd rebuy a 3DS for this (a used one, granted) and then when I'd be finished with the game I'd sell it back.I can't help it, if there's any one franchise that can instantly push me to buy new hardware, it's gonna be Pokémon.
Would buy a 3DS for this in the blink of an eye, my DS lite is getting old anyway.
get that stick out of you buttJust because they called it something else, doesn't mean it didn't get released.
Maybe when they see no one will buy it, knowing what to expect, we'll all see how bad that gen 3 was and accept it as fact.I'm placing my bet on a Gen 3 remake for 3DS.

Isn't it early for Gen VI?
I mean, I still feel like Gen V just came out. ^_^

It has to be a new game though. Searched for the last episode info regarding the animé and gee, Ash is fighting in the Pokémon League. Probably his final battle, cuz Ash can't be a Pokémon master! So we'll get a Black & White filler season with the first sightings of Gen VI Pocketo Monstahs

It's Pokemon Stadium if they stripped out every single feature besides battling.
No minigames. (despite being in an amusement park)
No storage.
No playing the handheld games on the system.
No gallery.
No Gym Leader Castle.
No Your Room to decorate.
And lackluster multiplayer support.
No huge list of every Pokemon for rentals.
I'll keep calling it "Battle Revolution".
What is the point of that? If they wanted to do that, they could of have done that with BW2.Black & White (the first games) ported to 3DS. Same exact game but in 3D/higher resolution (except sprites)
Haven't played BR in a long time (because it did indeed kind of sucked) but what's the problem in multiplayer? Haven't tried it much but I'm curious.

They call me Gaseous Snake. :)...what is going on with your avatar?
Eh, it just seems pointless to me because you can already play the games on the 3DS. I know that it could still mean better resolution and whatnot but it sounds pointless for the mass, so it doesn't sound like worth the effort. And an announcement of port of a year old game just sounds silly. But each to their own I suppose! I'd rather them make something new because I want more 3DS killer apps. It'll be DOWNLOADABLE (ooooOOOOoooo!)
And doing that with BW2 would've left out the DS audience which would've guaranteed lower sales. Why not re-release it so there's a fancy new version :V Trust me, it'd still sell. Worked gaming retail for 7+ years and the Pokemon kids buy anything and everything that says Pokemon. I know a kid that would get a Pokemon game every single week if they released one every week.
Pokemon Red/Green 3D Classics, now with shoehorned in Gen 5 time machine support.
At best.
Pokemon 3DS, full 3d, everything animated, no more sprites, with Kanto, Johto & Hoenn. Developped by Retro Studios.
I really didn't expect a new mainline Pokemon game to release until 2014, but if they manage to get it out this year, that'll be pretty big. Assuming that's what this is, of course.
