After DS3, I'm never buying an EA game again. They've gone too far. I will find another means of playing their games, like gamefly. If they lock out content with online passes, I don't care. I still won't buy shit.
If true I hope the team gets another project, must be lots of people working in that team.
Pretty fucking pathetic what Dead Space turned into.
Wouldn't even go near DS3 after some of the reviews and micro-transactions in there as well?!? Smh
I never got the problem with this? It's not like you NEED to buy it.
You mean cramming in microtransactions and dudebroing our game out can have negative effects on sales? Well damn, better cancel the entire series rather than undo our douchebaggery then!
Good luck with that, Mirror's Edge.
Thank you for the mercy kill.
Good, every series needs to come to an end. We don't need a new Dead Space every year.
It's a shame though the series couldn't end on a high note.
They incorporated it into a really poorly made crafting system. So yes, it's a problem.

The game gave you plenty of resources needed, and even lets you buy the important microtransaction stuff with ingame resources. It was not an issue whatsoever unless you just outright didn't like the crafting at all, which would be another issue entirely.
Like hell they did. They had heavy hand in DS3 development and direction. It's hard to fault EA too much. They gave the series a shot, not many publishers would be willing to do what they did with Dead Space.
Saying that, their expectations were simply too high. They shoul have known it was a modest seller at best and left it there until perhaps the next generation where they could have attempted to make it more mainstream.
Is it possible for someone else to acquire Mirrors Edge and Dead Space Ip since EA doesn't give a fuck or is their ego too big?
