I wonder where you pulled that number from. These numbers are impossible and would require PS2, a dying console that has been discontinued, to have sold way more than the previous six months (Sony released combined numbers for PS3+PS2)
yes, the gameplay in Uncharted games was fine. You can call it shallow or linear but the gameplay was never broken. And I beat Uncharted 3 on hard before it was patched, the issue was overblown.
Well yeah it's hard to screw up a third person cover shooter. TLOU seems much more ambitious though and will probably be harder to pull off than standard third person cover shooting.
I have no idea of what you are trying to say, are you saying that Naughty Dog is a deceptive company? Are you saying the E3 demo was all smoke and mirrors and no substance?
There have been plenty of shitty third person shooters this gen...
Yeah, i was wrong, i have mixed the numbers. Looks like both sold ~76M.
Yeah I'm gonna say they are deceptive based on the control issues with UC3. And yes I'm starting to believe that the e3 demo was highly scripted. Also the fact the demo you get with GOW:A doesn't unlock until 10 days before the game is released makes me think that they're not confident in the game and are going to try to sell the game purely of promises.

Not confirmed or denied, yet. The two pages posted don't have any of that info on them.lol this took a turn for the funniest.
So was the magazine info confirmed legit?
They were absolutely not broken, but the aiming wasn't as intuitive as in UC2. All the other controls except for the aiming were fine as is.Isn't this the same company that shipped a game with broken controls and had to have GAF bitch them out before they acknowledged something was wrong?
Please tell us how it was deceptive. I absolutely had no problems with the controls in Uncharted 3 before the patch, I got the game on release day and beat it soon after. Naughty Dog really doesn't have a history of lying to their fans or gamers in general. I am pretty sure their CEO said, Uncharted 3 was rushed and they announced the release date far too early, something they have avoided with The Last of Us.
NeoGAF.gifone guy made a stupid thread with fake info and now people are bashing an unreleased game and ps3 sales.

noobasuar's had a shocker these last 2 pages
I didn't see any input lag in Uncharted 3....I beat the game on hard soon after releaseDo you prefer input lag? Does it make your games feel "weightier"?

No more stupid ass Meta4 PS3 fanboy posts
thank you based mods
I'm not asking about that, I'm asking if you like input lag and feel that it makes games feel weightier, in your opinion.
The only game I have played that had a lot of input lag was Killzone 2, and I felt it would have been a much better game without it....
Good to hear, good to hear. You're on the "sensible" side.
If you get junior'd, do you ever go back to being a member? How long does it take?
Why punish the OP tho? He got fooled just like everyone else? Is it because of the thread title he used?
Article source is this thread
Are you just randomly picking people and ask if they like input lag?
Cause that's kinda creepy.
I for one loved KZ2 version of input lag, and hated U3 version of input lag! ;-)

The input lag in Killzone 2 is acceptable in the single player, since it's a slow and heavy shooter. But it's extremely annoying in the multiplayer.
But I kinda liked what I read in the original post
KZ2 was one of the best MP on this generation IMO, right next to Bad Company 2.
I played it mostly at release, without the patch. I even got the 1% trophy. That game was glorious, controls were perfect for what Guerrilla was trying to do. Too bad they caved in to the pressure of addressing it.
They tried to address the fans complains again on KZ3 and turned the game pure trash.
IMO Guerrilla should have sticked to it's vision.
I put a lot of time into Killzone 2 as well, but I got my PS3 in March 2010 or so. It had a bunch of problems though....the frame rate was too low in 32 player games, the input lag made it worse and some of the map design was questionable. Also, those spawn beacons led to intense spawn camping, that made rounds really one sided at times.
M! Games is definitely trustworthy...so there's only one possible conclusion.
You played the game almost a year after release right? It was after the patch that ruined everything trying to make the game feel right to COD fans.
As I said the game felt great to me on release, I never noticed framerate issues.
The game really shined on clan vs. clan games. I never played many pub games but yeah, things could get a little loopsided with spawn trapping (lol Radec Academy!), but as I said I played mainly clan vs. clan were tactics like that didn't work at all due to the high lvl. of skill of all the players involved.
All maps were good to high lvl. play IMO.
Considering KZ2 MP director is back at Guerrilla I have high hopes for Shadowfall!!! =D
April Fools information/issue?
What happens if the game comes out and has input lag?
damn some of those ideas were really swell too. Back to being cautiously pessimistic as per Naughty Dog's game library so far I suppose until i am convinced the game is extremely challenging and has real tension.
But I kinda liked what I read in the original post
Eh me too. More mainstream games need some balls mechanically.
It's all fake.

Have you played I Am Alive?
Flawed but mechanically interesting post-apoc survival game.
Probably a rash of mostly disingenuous threads saying input lag is the worst/best thing ever with a lot of replies from everyone else saying that it's not the worst/best thing ever. Someone will find some studies from the air force about reaction time and try to prove that it's objectively the worst/best thing ever. Cats and dogs will be making out in the streets, and the rest of us will just judge the game as a whole instead of focusing in on one aspect of it like some obsessed savant.
