Ha funny how people who claim to not care about race are so obsessed with it in this case. The ultra right wing assholes want it to be a black/brown person. While the ultra left wing assholes want it to be a white person.

The way I look at it is this:

If they are foreign Muslim extremists, we're going to go ape-shit 9/11 on the Middle East, wrecking a path of destruction, with all out drone strikes killing tons of civilians to get our targets.

If they are domestic extreme right-wingers, we can come together as a country and reflect on the crazy anti-progressive rhetoric that has been poisoning political discourse for the past five years. The result hopefully being that Fox news and it's ilk will feel a bit more restrained in pushing their agenda of stomping out any sort of safety nets for the poor and working class by using absurd fear mongering to manipulate opinion.

So, yeah, I'm hoping it's domestic.

When was the moment they decided to go public? Who decided it? How long was the period between that period and the press conference? Who had the power to cancel stuff if new information broke in between? How many people were diverted to work on the press conference and what should they have been doing at the same time?

If you read my original post on the matter, many of these questions are basically of the type I would have liked the press to ask.

There was clearly some time spent by the authorities arranging this press conference, getting the posters printed and mounted on foamcore boards, ect.

Hell, if you were watching the televised coverage, it's obvious the cameras were there, and focused on the back side of these posters, for at least over a half hour, just waiting for a whole bunch of people in uniforms and suits to come in, line up to get their mugs on TV, ect, when somebody could have just come in, flipped the pictures over and said, these are the guys we want to question. Or better, the FBI could have immediately put them up on their official website as soon as the decision was made to ask for public help.

There was no need for this silly reveal. It wasted time.
