You can raid island mini-games for fruit. You can take flowers as well. Works on every mini-game except ones that don't have trees and the maze one where he asks you to pick up fruit anyway.

Just put away whatever tool you are using, shake the trees, and the fruit comes back with you. Be sure to put it in the box before you leave (or plant it right on the island) and it's a super easy way to gather the different fruits.

tried this yesterday in the butterfly hunt but the trees were only one kind of fruit and it was an island kind will try again when I wake up

Whoever suggested changing the town tune to up your approval rating was spot on. I did that and sent letters to everyone with wrapped gifts and it jumped from 32 to 100.

start up as usual when Isabelle is talking to you pick the second option to see all that you can delete and start over fresh

I wonder what deleting the house means I wish I could move my house to a new spot now but it probably means delete that character from the town instead of relocating the house

if you want to spawn the beetles only on the palm trees trick that is what people are doing basically it is faster to farm your major beetles if you cut down all the center stuff leaving only the beach ring with coconut trees the beetles will show up there

otherwise no benefit it kinda harms collecting other bugs that only spawn on non-beach trees and flowers / bushes

I just got AC and I have a question as to how the game will guide me.

Two things. The first is I keep tripping non stop. The game hasnt told me a dibgle thing about this. The other was a while back I checked this thread and noticed thats omeone said you can use the dpad to bring out/put away shovel etc.

I would rather just enjoy the game than come on here and ask things like why am i tripping, but would the game eventually explain the two things I just talked about to me? Can I play it and it teach me why Im tripping and to use dpad to use items?

Yes, you press left or right on the d-pad to cycle quickly through tools.

It's random really and very rare to get it before Katrina appears.

One of the resident in my town explained the d-pad item change to me yesterday. I've seen other residents explaining some basic gameplay before too.

As for tripping, it happened to me a few days ago as well and turns out there's a luck/bad luck system in the game. On bad days, you trip occasionally when running. On good days, you might find 200 bells in trees instead of 100 bells.

To slow grass degradation is it better to save and quit or leave the game on in sleep mode until the end of the day?

I heard the game calculates grass deteriation on load. Also, does the villagers count toward destruction of flowers? Grass?
