When it comes to lewd, I manage to use my head quite well!

Don't give 4Kids credit for the work of other companies.
Sometimes you need true visionaries to bring content to the masses to make it matter. Other times you get 4kids.

That list is in need of some edits anyway. We should probably clear up anything that's still vaguely marked "caveats" and YGO S0 needs pruned because everyone else ranged from ambivalence to hatred when they watched it :lol

We also seriously, seriously need to set up a night to finally tackle Touka Gettan and Soul Link.
Hey I liked the YGO S0 I saw while I'm unsure of list status since a lot of its listness comes in contrast to everything else YGO. As for list edits I've been meaning to script some stuff, maybe descriptions on hover but a) I've been a bit lazy b) I haven't seen everything so I can't write said pop-ups.

I can't not think peaceiscloser is R_thanatos with that avatar.
They should Gattai

Now then, I am dragging my sister into the world of anime because I am a horrible person for sharing my hobby with my sister, on top of being a terrible waste of a human being, so I gave her a choice of what I can give her right now and she picked

Her own choice
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (This shocked me)
Squid Girl

A bit of convincing
Precure (She chose Fresh Precure and Splash Star on her own choice though)
Little Witch Academia (because it's just 1 episode)

Forced
Heartcatch
Azumanga Daioh (she was scared of entering Highschool)

Now then, I'm actually considering throwing in Madoka Magica as well in the near future just to increase my terribleness right now. Any future choices for a 14 year old?

Don't forget Sword Art Online!

Although I don't know that I'd compare Utena to any of these. Geass was more fun, but it was also a trainwreck. Utena was genuinely good.

I'd say more than half of Code Geass is good. Utena is genuinely great, even with symbolism overload (same goes for the film, but I prefer the TV series).

For me the hardest shows to watch either have nothing good or nothing fun at all. They're either totally terrible or just boring.

Well, I don't think anyone really cares about anime music here, and I know the hipsters openly shit on people who actually admit they like anime OPs and EDs. But anyways, with Spring season now over, my top OPs and EDs of Spring season are as follows:

OP:

1. fripSide - sister's noise (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S OP1)
2. Linked Horizon - Guren no Yumiya Titan Theme Goes With Everything
3. Minami Kuribayashi - Zero!! (Hataraku Maou-sama! OP)

ED:
1. Yoko Hikasa - Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai (Shingeki no Kyoujin ED1)
2. ChouCho - Sora to Kimi no Message (Suisei no Gargantia ED)

Oh yeah, I'd say all of Geass S1 was good, and that Geass S2 was good for a different value of good.

Well, I'll leave that subject alone for the time being.

I'm usually not a fan of dubs, by default, but going by my current rewatch...Tiger & Bunny has a pretty good one. It's predictably very fitting for material with a lot of western sensibilities.

Experiencing the show in English feels almost seamless, though I'll admit it's been just long enough that I've forgotten most of the Japanese voices.

You have great taste in music.

Is this an IRC thing because I don't recall seeing that level of hate here against anime music.

Shinbo "directs" things by whipping his serfs while they animate cute girls for cups of ramen (with a rare few getting the seasoning satchels if they do a good job.)

Shinbo "directs" stuff. Remember that season where he was the director on like 2-3 shows? He's either a robot or he doesn't do much directing.

I'd be more surprised if he had episode director credit.

But this by A-1 isn't it?

Can he doing his "supervising" stuff like he on SHAFT?

This is what you were all waiting for, I know it :
Prime Time Drama Preview – Summer 2013
All of my hype

This season looks to be super shitty compared to Spring.

Spring had the super heavyweights in Galileo, Kazoku Game and Kasuka na Kanojo. Last Cinderella was also a surprise hit.

This season's Getsu-9 looks to be shit although the "Mother" writer is back with "Woman" so that's something to keep an eye on. I'm guessing that I'll be staying with Getsu-9 and the Morning dorama this season.

Next season has Legal High S2. Its automatically better than the entirety of Summer.
