Where are all the milfs for these shotas?

.

By her reckless actions she
-
would have killed shido , if he hadn't the healing powers resulting in the death of shido , tohka and herself ..that was totally unnecessary
-
couldn't do a thing toward kurumi ( tohka had her powers sealed ) but origami confronted her Twice and that was 2 defeats. In contrast , even if some characters were defeated by kurumi , they at least put up a fight before that point.
-
used a very dangerous weapon in a public area , not thinking once about the damages she would have caused or the harm done to other humans

it's not hard to think she is a failure, she hasn't achieved anything worthy in the 12 episodes of the anime, except making fun of tohka

Shido dying wouldn't have been a major loss. Would've been great if he did and some way his sealing powers transferred over to Kotori where she would then have to romance all the girls.

You're talking about a normal girl with high tech military equipment taking on a spirit, a being who has the ability to destroy worlds. Of course she would lose on most if not all occasions when facing them. I'd be more alarmed if she faced them with little to no challenge at all. Only reason Mana is fairing well is because she went through that experiment or whatever to become a secret weapon used in killing them.

The girl's judgement was clouded by revenge. Not the brightest move on her part I admit but what can you do when you're driven by rage?
:p

Origami isnt completely awful, shes just the worst in Date a Live.

That's only because you're thinking in those terms.
Regardless there was no reason to shoot when she fired, it only show how stupid & reckless she is.

The thing is that there was better way to hande the situation. For the rest it doesn't hold much since
she will keep the new tech that mana uses and she still won't be better on that front

The girl's judgement was clouded by revenge. Not the brightest move on her part I admit but what can you do when you're driven by rage?
:p

But that's my problem with the character actually ... all , ALL her mistakes are the result of her being driven by rage and acting reckless.
Unless she fixes that attitude, she will be forever at the bottom of the ranking.
It's like her character exist only to make things more complicated.

Oh you have got to be kidding me. Unless it's very cheap to hire a tank. Sentai cannot be making enough money for something like this, can they?

I guess I'm just cynical after the whole ADV thing.
In the region of a few grand. But that's a substantial chunk of however much money they'd expect to make from GuP.

Not even a real Panzer III...

Looks like a M24 Chaffee.
This is the US. A real Panzer would probably have been too much to ask.

Sure they can. You see the evidence right there!
ITs probably not too expensive to hire an old tank. Doubt they actually bought the thing.

Other Utena questions:

What happens to Utena?
Is the movie a sequel or a rebuild?
What happened to like, the whole World Revolution thing? Why was any of the dueling necessary if all of this was a ploy to free Anthy?

The more I think about the end of the show, the less satisfied I become with it.

Utena questions before I leave for camping and forget, if the movie explains, just say that:

What was the power to revolutionize the world?
What did Akio want with this power?
What role did Nemuro really play in all of this?
Was there a castle?
What was the point of the dueling game?
Akio had lost the power of the prince and wanted to get it back. The point of the dueling game was to produce a person able to obtain it which Akio would then use to his advantage.

Utena left Akio's world.
Movie is a rebuild.
Utena, a girl, becoming Anthy's prince IS the revolution.

Utena questions before I leave for camping and forget, if the movie explains, just say that:

What was the power to revolutionize the world?
What the duelists think:
something which they had in the past but they lost because age, stagnation, love, whatever.
What Akio and Anthy think:
Their old selfs as complete beings before they splintered.
What Utena thinks:
She doesn't know. She's just going on because she wants to be a Prince (bad idea)
What the show actually says: GIRL POWER!
Well, not necessarily. It's about being able to move on from relationships where there's a power imbalance. That's what Utena ultimately teaches Anthy by reaching out to her even in face of the latter's betrayal.

But really, feminism.
What did Akio want with this power?
Be the man that he was back when Akio and Dios were not separated aka the eponymous prince.
What role did Nemuro really play in all of this?
Remember what I told you about the end of the Black Rose Saga? Nemuro is a proto-Utena, downright to the hair colour. He's an example of another man who wanted to reach something eternal (this time in the case of saving Mamiya from death), but showing you what happens when obsession takes over. His end, graduating from the Academy, is also foreshadowing for Utena's final fate.
Was there a castle?
No, the castle was just bait for the duelists. It's also meant to represent the illusory fragility of the concept of eternity.

Fun fact: Saionji mentions back in episode one that maybe it's nothing but a trick of lights.
What was the point of the dueling game?
To find a sword capable of opening the coffin. The implication being that just as Akio failed with Utena's sword, he had failed many times before and would fail forever and ever.
Did you miss all my Sailor Moon and Utena posts by chance?

It's Anime Expo, so I'm sure they would have many World War II era tanks at their disposal.
German Tanks are a lot harder to come by than you'd think though. For example the number of Tiger Is that are still operable is in the single digits. But props should be easy to get, usually based on old US tanks. Especially in California.
Edit: Then again there were an estimated of 8-9x more Panzer IVs than Tigers built.

Let me get this right:
Dios was a prince who did prince stuff and Anthy was maybe his sister. Being a prince got to be too much and Anthy took away his powers. She got like, murdered for this, and suffered for it forever. Dios and Anthy's ages are magical after this point. Anyway, at some point Dios hatches this plan to get his powers back and starts the dueling thing. This drives Nemuro crazy and he kills like a hundred guys in a fire. This lands him onto the personal retainer of Akio, to be used only when reasons. Utena's parents die and Dios shows up and shows her Anthy, gives her the ring, and plans to have her win and free both of them, since apparently Dios' decency is sealed with his power. When Utena arrives at the school, the game is underway already to get Akio in to get his powers back. Utena plays the game, and Akio uses it, and Nemuro's black rose stuff, as a means of toughening her up. He gets close to her so he can break her at the end and open the door himself. He fails, and she opens the door, almost freeing Anthy's soul and Dios' power before losing her grip, possibly because Utena had given up a fair amount of her nobility by the end. Utena is wounded, but not "freals dead tho" and Anthy heads off to find her, a portion of her soul having escaped and enabling her to leave Akio, who is planning on doing the games again. How it ends from there is "up to you". The dueling arena may or may not have been a hallucination created by Akio's projector.

Is this more or less the gist?

I'm fairly sure the BBFC would disagree with you.

[Edit] I'm wrong: they gave it a 12.

Much as I would like to sit back and enjoy you owning yourself there, I feel obliged to mention that you were right the first time. The rating on the Amazon box image for that Blu-Ray is incorrect (I guess the image must have been made before the rating was finalised). The actual BBFC rating for Madoka is 15 (as correctly noted lower down on the page, and visible in the user images of the box). I know this because I was a little confused by it myself when I bought this set!

Either way, though, it's not like BBFC ratings are absolute. I don't think there's anything wrong with a 14-year-old watching something rated 15 in most instances.

Oh lord DTL's title for the Free! OT #Dead

Bahahahahahaha well played.

I disagree with that interpretation.
Princehood as an ideal gets utterly destroyed by the end of the show. Just by virtue of having a Prince/Princess dichotomy you have a severe power imbalance where the latter is always at the mercy of the former. It's also no coincidence that the real "princely" characters of the show always get stomped over by the world, as seen in Dios, the Onion Prince, and Juri. Utena saves Anthy at the end not because she forces her to finally "break the egg's shell", but because she convinces her by showing her what true love and respect is.

I think this is made even clearer in the movie,
where Utena refuses to take out Anthy's sword and instead both escape from Ohtori Academy as equals.

I forgot to use quotes so I didn't mean to be literal there, but after thinking about it, you're right.

Let me get this right:

Akio/Dios and Anthy before the splintering off represents the abuse adults have for innocent people. I don't think it's very likely there was any incest back then, as it would go against the idea that they are truly pure beings back here.
I don't know why I read this as you talking about incest. YOU HAVE PRE-CONDITIONED ME, CORVO.
This drives Nemuro crazy and he kills like a hundred guys in a fire. This lands him onto the personal retainer of Akio, to be used only when reasons.
The show never makes it clear whether the current
dueling set-up is fabricated by Nemuro himself; it instead hints at the game having been there for a very long time. My personal interpretation is that Nemuro was doing something else entirely (hence the burning all those students thing), but that eventually Akio used elements from Nemuro's study into his game.
When Utena arrives at the school
I only just noticed this on my latest rewatch, but Utena is not "arriving" at school in the sense that she's a transfer student or whatever. She has been there before and leads a normal life until she notices something strange.
The dueling arena may or may not have been a hallucination created by Akio's projector.
The dueling arena was a hallucination, but all the coffin stuff wasn't.

Yeah, if any place in the US that would have lots of old Tanks it would be California.

Or Texas.
Why wouldn't they be?

I guess that's true.

If only it were girls in the water instead, but that's just me.

Music wasn't that bad, it wasn't till the end of the song that I realized he was
searching for water
the whole time. Pretty cool concept for an anime about swimming.
would you say it's pretty deep?

No, it won't ruin it. It will take away from one reveal, but there's a lot of hints to that even early on in the series. There will still be a lot of mysteries left even if you know that.
Ok thanks, I saw that one thing spoiled way back before I even had it on my watch list.

I saw your spoiler tag fail there!

not judging you, I've accidentally used bold tags instead of spoiler tags myself before
Lol my bad I was typing so fast and had a brain fart, didn't notice till I hit submit.
