Man, I am not digging this romance between Michel and Cleo. They really don't have any chemistry whatsoever.

And...now they're having sex. Goody. And I"m still not sure who it is Aimer is jealous of.

So other then a town where you live what other notable stuff isn't being simulcast this season?

Maybe they just record together and they couldn't match up with Kikuchi, or cost, or standard procedure for dubs? I was more amused by Mako being dubbed by Hayashibara, though, because when I first saw the trailers for PR I thought that Mako was totally a Rei Ayanami.

maybe we can get zeroshiki on the case

I looked it up for you, fuckers. The official reason is that they wanted "professional" seiyuu doing the dubbing and move away from the celebrity dubbing that has invaded the industry recently.

The more likely actual reason is that the distribution companies get films for dub completely without the vocal track so they would have had to hire Kikuchi Rinko to do the dub which would be more expensive than just getting someone better to do it.

Also, shame on everyone who doesn't know Hayashibara Megumi is Ayanami Rei >_>

we'll have to press him for answers once he's back from reserving his seat for Kaze Tachinu

Will do that next week!

That depends on how you define "notable", but here's a list via WTK:
Kingdom 2
Yuuto-kun ga Iku
Tamayura ~More Aggressive~
Love Lab
Senki Zesshou Symphogear G
Maji de Otaku na English! Ribbon-chan: Eigo de Tatakau Mahou Shoujo - The TV
Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS
Nyuru Nyuru!! Kakusen-kun
A Town Where You Live (Kimi no Iru Machi)
Futari wa Milky Holmes
But yeah, specifically the three above that Hosanna mentioned are probably the ones you're most likely to see AnimeGAF watching.

Of course, Crunchyroll has in the past randomly picked up stuff for simulcasting even a couple weeks into the season, so never say never.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes - 105: A Planet in Confusion

~ It's your wish, not prediction, isn't it? ~

I thought Reinhard would have been much more pissed off at von Oberstein and von Bittenfeld for making a mockery of the Imperial High Admiralty's unity, and nearly screwing over the diplomatic plan.
And if Reinhard is gonna lead the negotiations with the Iserlohn Republic, does that mean he will meet with Julian and Frederica? Please let be so. I hope he doesn't fall sick meanwhilst.

Oh yeah, I saw Love Lab - 02 last night.

I hadn't seen episode 1 but I could suss out who the characters were and what they were talking about pretty easily. I like it. Its pretty funny and the :sdburton is plentiful. I really dislike it when they have to have the "generic" character to have a point of comparison in these large group shows and I guess glasses girl is it in this episode. She's kinda boring but the chairman and her wild friend more than makes up for it.

Aiko just beating the shit out of that annoying brat who talks in a half-heartedly english, nothing new here, just what I would expect from Aiko.

......I don't believe this was just twenty minutes...it was...just perfect, from beginning to end. I don't even want to spoil it with a random image from the episode, you people watching Doremi get to this episode.
It's raining in my room.

Oh, I'm not wearing any yuri goggles for this series (probably). It's a little difficult to imagine yuri antics with even-more-perfect-than-FujiP-and-Kazuya guys running around and taking Cures in their strong embraces. Even if they do revert to little fluffy things on occasion. When I say "opposites attract", that's purely for the sake of drawing Precure parallels in the good old Nagisa/Honoka tradition of LOOK THESE GIRLS HAVE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES, INTERESTS AND SOCIAL CIRCLES. NOW THEY'RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS!!!1!.

With that voice, how can I not? XD It's more offputting than Kenta ever was to hear Naruto's voice coming from a female character now!

Eh, I don't mean it in a bad way. There's just a superficial resemblance that amused me. Also it completes the parallel: if we assign Nozomi and Rin as Nagisa, and Karen and Komachi as Honoka, then Urara, not fitting into either duo, has to be odd-Cure-out Hikari! It makes sense! She's even the right colour!

Making comparisons to Hikari is always a bad thing

Well she has a loli voice, just not in precure form.

Other than that, yeah, she stole the budget to show that she's DTF

C3-bu 2

So it turns out not even Miyukichi could save this show, there was absolutely nothing interesting in the entire episode besides some blatant :SDBurton. Also Yura's seiyuu feels emotionless and the tall girl's is annoying as all hell. Will more than likely not watch the next episode.

Silver Spoon 01

This part just slayed me.

Definitely really like the manga. And that's kinda the problem since I already read the manga and love that. The fact that it is pretty much like the manga kinda makes it hard for me to want to commit to watching it weekly.

OP's boring, and ED godly due to Sukima Switch.

Kinda felt like things were moving really quickly but the episode ended on a very satisfying note. I think just like the manga, once you get a good feel for the (somewhat) large cast and Hachiken's character, the series really comes into its own. On the visual side, the show is serviceable. Not great, not bad but to me, the audio seemed really lacking in certain scenes. Like the OST felt strangely and noticeable absent in scenes where even a small audio cue would've benefited it. The voicework for most of the characters however was generally very good.

I dunno, not a strong introduction to the series but I have faith that it'll pick up very soon.

A vast improvement than the first episode but still as good as working!! Chihaya is definitely interesting with that otaku attitude and deadpan voice and Toko a tsundere brocon.

I have heard Hayashibara's name before, but I wouldn't be able to pinpoint any of her roles. I'm 23 btw.
Faye Valentine? Lina Inverse? Rei Ayanami? Girl-side Ranma? Paprika? She's one of the most prolific voice actresses in anime.

Also, Shigeru Chiba is Megane from Urusei Yatsura, Yotsuya from Maison Ikkoku, and Buggy from One Piece.

Opening action was a little incomprehensible, story was thinner than I'd have liked, and the downtime was kinda eccentric. That's all immaterial though as I went to see one thing.
I left the theater feeling like a god damn child as I couldn't help but giggle excitedly to myself any time a jaeger was onscreen doing jaeger things.

all hail our cg mecha future, aoty, etc

You don't really need to worry about spoilers from me, since I mostly do short/shallow impressions and I really don't like spoilers so I always preview my posts to make sure nothing slipped past me.

Ojamajo Doremi #: The Movie

The movie could be a normal episode because it's just 27 minutes long, it's pretty nice, showing again how Doremi
and Pop are good sisters, and the origins of
Doremi x Steak.
Though I really wonder what the people who went to watch The Digimon movie thought about the movie being split into two parts and Ojamajo Doremi #: The Movie screened in between, for the 2000 Summer Toei Anime Fair.

From the Ojamajo wiki:
Though the movie bears little relevance to the series it's based on, it does mostly take place some time between episodes 16 and 37 and is referenced in both episodes 37 and 40
The movie still was nice for me, it's just like one episode they cut from the series to be a movie...but watching both episode 37 and 40, took away some surprise from the movie and I would recommend to watch it before 37.

Having said this I would like to ask for the order to watch Tamayura.
