Yea, it shouldn't have been a big mystery. I made this fact publicly known from the moment that downclock about the GPU rumor cropped up, and I practically begged for permission to go on the record stating that it definitely wasn't true.

An abomination on the same level as Hitman Absolution and Splinter Cell Conviction, at least if nothing that they've revealed changes between now and February. Which is oddly fitting I guess since those other 2 top level stealth franchises were shat on in such an amazing manner, may as well do it to the 3rd one.

Fair enough. I haven't really been following info etc on the new one, but that's disappointing to hear. Sounds like it'll be a watered down experience compared to the franchises past.

Dude was kinda apart of the community long before his account was ever approved, though, don't you think? How many times have we talked about his podcasts here over the years? How many times have threads been made containing information that perhaps he put out? I generally didn't get a sense that he was all that disliked here on GAF from all my time lurking the forums, that is until the Xbox One was set to release, and now all of a sudden people act like he's the worst person in the world lol.

In all seriousness, if people are just going to attack him (all signs point to "yes") why does this thread even exist still? The guy isnt going to post much if he has an army of pitchfork brandishing fanboys attacking him with .gifs and quotes of things that have already been dealt with over the past few months.

No point in making a big deal over this if nobody will even give him the chance to feel welcome.

I was implying that people are too scared to confront people face to face. It has nothing to do with fighting.

You know I always didn't mind that game too much. Compared to the horrifying examples of console streamlining like Invisible War, Skyrim, and Hitman Absolution (among others) we got pretty lucky with Deadly Shadows. Yeah it's a big step down from 2 but it still retains enough of Thief to be a solid game.

Man this thread is getting really weird now...
