Sorry about your loss Defuser. =(
Because I don't see them in my thread or in any news thread relating to Monster Hunter gameplay and so far the ones complaining are those who have played Monster Hunter series. This thread is already proof that Nintendo fanboys are just dick waving because they got something exclusive out of Sony Camp. Just like when Fatal Inertia went multiplatform,360 fanboys went around celebrating not because of the game but because it no longer belongs to Sony camp anymore.angelfly said:Why do you assume non of the Nintendo fans have played MH before?
So basically Monster Hunter 3 (exclusive?)=Fatal Inertia?Defuser said:Because I don't see them in my thread or in any news thread relating to Monster Hunter gameplay and so far the ones complaining are those who have played Monster Hunter series. This thread is already proof that Nintendo fanboys are just dick waving because they got something exclusive out of Sony Camp. No,you fail because you don't see the logic behind it.Mdk7 said:So basically Monster Hunter 3 (exclusive?)=Fatal Inertia?
you fail dude.

yeah yeah, laugh all you want at me on GAMEFAQS.
This is probably why you're so upset though. You fail to comprehend to reality of the business side of gaming.Defuser said:Because I don't see them in my thread or in any news thread relating to Monster Hunter gameplay and so far the ones complaining are those who have played Monster Hunter series. This thread is already proof that Nintendo fanboys are just dick waving because they got something exclusive out of Sony Camp. "Nintendo fanboys being just dick waving because they got something exclusive out of Sony Camp" when that little something is a million seller quality game by Capcom sounds logic to you?Defuser said:No,you fail because you don't see the logic behind it.

There is no such thing as a 3rd party being in the Sony camp, or Nintendo/MS camp. They're only ever in the camp which they think will bring them the most money. Get over it.
Million seller in Japan while a big flop in America.Mdk7 said:"Nintendo fanboys being just dick waving because they got something exclusive out of Sony Camp" when that little something is a million seller quality game by Capcom sounds logic to you?
If it's all about gfx why not wish for this being on PC? Capcom is now developing PC titles in-house. As I said it's not about what people wish for in MH but on what plattform it should be released based on personal preference.Lostconfused said:Sigh, i wanted MH3 using the lost planet engine, at least it meant a chance of a 360 port.
Way to crush my dreams nintendo.
Is it wrong to want better visuals? Oh and actually if you dont count graphics/pretty pictures then id prefer for it to stay on the psp since i am so used to playing the game on the bus now.
So as a fan of a video-game series you don't care about it's sales? You do know that good sales=good chance of getting a sequel? AFAIK MH2 wasn't released in the west because of awful sales. Wether that will change with Wii remains yet to be seen, but the sales potential is bigger, as you have stated yourself.Acosta said:Yes, why caring about the potential and evolution of a beloved series when we know Capcom will have a better chance to make money over a Wii version? Crazy.
I didn´t loved the series going to PSP and I don´t love this. Is pretty simple.
I haven't seen as much gloating about the exclusivity as I've seen moaning about this announcement. And it was moved from the Capcom PS3 site to the Wii site.AnimeTheme said:Is it really too early for N fanboys (who may have never played MH at all) to laugh at Sony fanboys and celebrate on the MHWii "exclusivity" and how great the game will be for Wii (yeah how?)? Capcom never said MH3 was exclusive to PS3, and they never do so for Wii either. Announcing MH for Wii on a Nintendo conference without mentioning other platforms makes perfect sense, but this doesn't eliminate the possibility of going multiplatform later. We actually saw similar cases for other games, such as Dynasty Warrior 6.
Why wouldn't it be realistic? And if PS2 online doesn't have any merrits in comparison to Wii online why are you so pissed? You're a fan of the series, what was good enough back then and could now be even better is considered shit and awful?Acosta said:Oh yes, a PC version as prime project would be awesome indeed, but is not realistic. But I would love that.
And I have every system around, so don´t try for that side, I fail to understand how anyone can have a "favourite console". For me is just a stupid idea.
Yes, Wii online experience has nothing to envy to PS2 online experience... but saying that as something positive is pretty pathetic if you want the truth.
Anything else?
So what?Defuser said:Million seller in Japan while a big flop in America.

Sony Japan, and gamers of Japan.sypher said:MH3 on Wii. Who cares?
angelfly said:Yup later on today.
Linkzg said:the only real problem I see with this entire cycle is that Monster Hunter is most likely going to Wii because it is a sure fire way to get lots of money and there is already a huge install base, the problem with that is that they shouldent be thinking of putting a popular franchise on an already popular console, they should have been putting it on the PS3 to increase the sales for PS3 and make the PS3 a success along with it or something.
the move seems very cautious are just as a sure fire way to make money, but whatever.
Exactly.Magicpaint said:Plus this is Capcom. When have they ever demonstrated or cared about loyalty? :lol
Visualante said:Sony Japan, and gamers of Japan.
angelfly said:Why should Capcom worry about selling Sony's system? That's Sony's job.
Linkzg said:but I am happy that there is atleast a Monster Hunter 3, Sega still hasnt released a 3rd game in a certain series that they are long over due for.
They didn't have to. Their silence said it all.sypher said:But they never said it was exclusive to Wii right?
PepsimanVsJoe said:Indeed. Where oh where is my sequel to Beyond/Legend of Oasis?
Daytona III ain't going to happen though, same with Outrun 3 I bet. =(

There's alot of casuals on the PS2 last gen,If they didn't buy the game which makes MH a flop in the west so what makes you think the Wii version will do better in the west?So as a fan of a video-game series you don't care about it's sales? You do know that good sales=good chance of getting a sequel? AFAIK MH2 wasn't released in the west because of awful sales. Simple way: They moan,Nintendo fanboys spring out shouting BITTER TEARS ,gloat and continue to put down everything spewed by sony fanboys.I haven't seen as much gloating about the exclusivity as I've seen moaning about this announcement. And it was moved from the Capcom PS3 site to the Wii site.
Really? I just drink water, surfing around other forums and posting exaggeratively and went to take nap.Personally, I don't care either way, but the bitterness amuses me. I really think some people are on the verge of crying in real life - at least judging by their posts here.
Because I'm a fan of the series which I know what kinds of wrongs it can happen with using Wii remote. It just like arguing back in the days about whether DMC should be on the wii. DMC is a complex system and steep learning curve.Same thing applies to MH,Monster Hunter has a complex system steep curve which Wii controls is not suitable for it.[/b]Why wouldn't it be realistic? And if PS2 online doesn't have any merrits in comparison to Wii online why are you so pissed? You're a fan of the series, what was good enough back then and could now be even better is considered shit and awful?

Oh noes pre-orders cancelled.sypher said:How funny would it be if this were to come out later on PSN?
DongHungLong said:Welp first Monster Hunter I'm not gonna buy. No chance in hell that I will ever buy a Wii.
Linkzg said:but Sony isnt a first party dev, they rely on third party and until today, Monster Hunter was a Sony exclusive franchise. Not to mention it helped sell PSP units (you can argue this). If Monster Hunter 3 was to be on PS3, it would help sell systems and improve the chances of more Capcom games on PS3, etc..
and even that is besides the point, because MH3 would be great on 360 also and they could have gone multiplatform.
but I am happy that there is atleast a Monster Hunter 3, Sega still hasnt released a 3rd game in a certain series that they are long over due for.
