Lovely. I am already lamenting just how shitty these launch lineups are. And now this? They should have just shut their mouths and released on 2014. Maybe the PS4 would have software and maybe the Xbone wouldn't be 50% underpowered.

I can agree with this (except the 50% underpowered, don't know where you got this, maybe you mean PS4 50% more powerful? That is the most generous description I have heard and would cause the Xbox to be 33% underpowered , because math) My personal decision to hold off on launch has been justified.

All of those are cross-buy so if you have it on PS3 you get it free on PS4.

Finally, these are all Cross-Buy games, meaning if you buy it once, you’ll be able to download it for free on any available system. Oh, and one more thing: if you have purchased these games previously on PlayStation Store, they will be available to you when they release on PS4 or PS Vita at no additional charge.

No, it's not fantastic either. It is what it is though. It's just a shame because Sony has the talent/teams to have stuff ready for day one, so I expect more from them. It would be great to play GT then throw in an Uncharted or GoW, if you didn't like KZ. Or in MS side, it would be great to throw in Halo then Gears if you didn't like Forza. That's all.

There's got to be more to videogames than popcorn blockbusters. I feel really sorry for people who can only recognise the bloated AAA and everything else is 'terrible'.

My little bro is a huge open world GTA style type kid......I mean hes playing GTA Online right now has nearly 100% GTA V in itself......so when I showed him watch dogs earlier this year he was so fricken excited that he got a next gen GTA feel. I mean this is just to hold him over till a new GTA or RDR.

As for the two buddies of mine, they are not fans of Microsoft period, they own PC's and are big racing fanatics. Meaning DriveClub was there big launch game they were looking forward to since they actually liked the social aspect that the game was mixing with itself. They are avid GAF readers.....not members and saw famousmortimers post, which they know his REP pretty well and went into gamestop to cancel. My local GameStop is apparently already informing people to be ready if they cannot get driveclub day one because of the rumors. Since my buddies were on borderline to just waiting till the crew (which got delayed) this only further sank the deal.

But I could see with no explanation where you are coming from.

I dont think people have been paying much attention the last few years, MS have always been excellent at whipping their devs into getting games out when they say they will/need them to be.

In regards to it being a system seller, I guess you could consider it for some people (like racing fans) - but it's not going to sell consoles like say, Killzone or Infamous will.

I think most people getting a PS4 know Driveclub as that free game that comes with PS+ (or was coming with PS+ if this rumour is true) more so than anything else, which is probably where a lot of the interest for the game is coming from in the first place.
