Capcom: RE5 6.5M, RE6 5.2M, DA 700K, LP3 500K, REHD 1M, DmC 1.2M, DR2 2.7M, DMC4 2.8M

^They just updated their IR data too:

http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/business/million.html

Things I've noticed:

-RE5 now surpassed vanilla SF2 as Capcom best selling game of all time (6.5m+). SF2 is still their best game of all time by far though when counting all the different versions (14m+).

-RE6 now@5.2m

-MP3rd now@4.8m (doesn't include "the best" version sales I think)

-MH4 now@2.8m (15 days sales)

RE5 as the best selling title (Not counting numerous re releases) is nice to see.
It's my favorite game of this GEN and the release time frame on two systems it had was perfect. Early on in 2 new systems lives and was the first big title of the series on those platforms.

Also nice to see RE6 pulled some good numbers.
With it's low price now it might end up being a floater where more and more people continue to pick it up after the initial word of mouth has died down.

DmC sold 1.3 million? Interesting. What is also interesting is that people are buying LP3. I have to say that the lead looks interesting as a character.

Who's buying RE6??

I got my copy like 3 weeks ago by $10 bucks.
Now I'm playing it on easy and infinite ammo in order to get more fun (running, playing like a shooter, just enjoying the story)... What an ugly game, specially after played The Last of Us.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
RE6 sales makes me rage...
I was part of the problem, FOUR times...

They can get even more sales for RE5 on PC if they remove GFWL and go the extra mile of adding all the DLC: Versus, Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape, The Mercenaries Reunion, and the costume packs.

So even with multiple steam sales, Digtial discounts on the console side and retailers dropping it in price, Capcom still only sold another 50k copies of DmC between now and April 2013.

Good.

Its actually more interesting to note that DMC4 went from 2.7 million to 2.8 million. My guess its the Steam sales at work.

I wonder if the sales of MH4 are good enough to warrant a western release, or they'll release it only when a ultimate version is done.

wow RE is selling really high..didn't realize it was such a big seller.

RE6 sold really well. if it weren't for bad budgeting, it would still be a success.

I bought RE6 day one and loved it. Hopefully money talks louder than fanboy whining in this case and we get another game in that style on PS4/XB1.

Whoa, Dark Arisen shifted 700k? Fuck yes! The fact that the game finally got across the 2 million mark with original + expanded versions combined is great. I need a sequel to Dogma more than I need just about anything in gaming.

The game still made lots of money.

It was disappointing because sales dropped from RE5, ASP sunk, and it reviewed horribly for a title of its caliber.

Man, I actually liked what I played of Lost Planet 3. I guess I'll go get it one of these days to help out.

Also, I really hoped that Revelations would do better. :/

At this point I doubt anyone would even play Versus nowadays, but the rest of the pack, especially Mercs Reunion + costume pack (that Fairytale Sheva!)? They need to release this!
