Humblebundle.com states it as a Limited Time offer ending after 2 weeks
GOG.com's page that 'The 20% discount will last until the game's release.'

Humblebundle doesn't offer a DRM-free copy it seems :/

Beautiful artwork and nostalgia. Not convinced it's a super engaging gameplay experience but these guys have toiled on this universe for an eternity.

Somewhere around nine years now -- work begun back in 2007. I'm not sure where you got two weeks from. Perhaps you misread my post?

Steam games don't automagically get store pages when they're uploaded; they go up whenever a developer chooses. Also, nobody "flipped out". The closest parallel would be Stump saying he's still not entirely convinced that an actual, fully-fledged game truly exists.
