Not having him appear would be the best way of handling it. Not in general, but tease and hype only for him not to appear in the video.

It'll probably be a copycat that he kills at the end. Hopefully, it's more random than that though.

This the kind of typical SNL "above average" sketch where you have something genuinely funny (David S. Pumpkins) surrounded by a hole heap of unfunny shit (everything else in the sketch). Like, I don't need audience surrogates explaining to me that David S. Pumpkins is nonsense.
