GAFer OriginalThinking who is terminally ill is raising money for charity

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
Ok here is the scoop GAF. Fellow Scottish GAFer OriginalThinking (Robbie) was diagnosed with brain cancer a few years ago. He's been putting up the valiant fight and had his ups and downs. He's sadly been more down than up lately so some of you might not know him cause he can't post much these days.

On a happy note our boy recent got married. His awesome longtime GF said yes, and they got hitched just a few weeks ago.

In honor of their marriage as well as the fact of people asking what they can do to support OriginalThinking they are asking friends to donate to the UK charity Marie Curie. Marie Curie is a charity that helps people who also have terminal illness.

His wife does most of the posting and internet work and set up a donation page for them both. If any of you care to donate it would be awesome and greatly appreciated.

The link also has a little bit about their story together as well as some wedding photos. We also got approval from them to post this.

Thanks in advance for anyone who donates.

PS: We love you Robbie and keep fighting the good fight!

Thank you for making this. A dear friend, who unfortunately doesn't even have the strength to participate here, will appreciate whatever we can raise to help others in the future

He's such a nice guy too. I know a couple GAFers meet him during their travels over the years and said he was nothing but the best.

Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone.

Sending positive thoughts to Clare & Robbie. They seem like an awesome couple.

Marie Curie is a worthy cause donating to:
Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

I can't imagine what it's like to have to battle this horrible disease. Props for making this thread, Vanillalite

Nothing but love for this man. Welcomed me like family when I was visiting and went out of his way to show me around even though he was having a tough time. Beautiful person and his now wife is just as kind hearted. Truly wish nothing but the best for both of them
