Cosmic Star Heroine (PS4/Vita/PC) Out April 11th

Now that I think about it, the release date might actually be a good idea. I imagine not many outlets will take time out to finish the game and review it, so actually letting it build up some great community buzz could be a solid strategy. It'll be easier in early May when people are finishing up Persona 5 to sell them on another great (but different) JRPG experience that has great reviews + word of mouth.

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
Really want that CSH and Darius Burst physical copies... but have never used LRG before. Best way to secure a copy? I don't really have the time to camp on an internet site and hope I can click my way through in time :p

Think I was in for Vita. That was before I had PS4, but that's okay, I need another reason to use the Vita anyway. However, the release is so close to Persona 5 :(

Pumped to play this. Play it after Persona 5 or maybe before Persona 5. Either way will buy it day one because this game deserves to be bought at full price.

I've been really looking forward to this, but right after Persona 5? Noooooooooooope. Will grab it sooner rather than later for sure though.

Here's the official press release that we just released. :)

Cosmic Star Heroine Release Date - Official Press Release

We are pleased to announce that Cosmic Star Heroine will come out on April 11th for Playstation 4 and PC! The official price is $14.99 USD.

The PS4 version of the game will be cross-buy with Vita. The Vita version will not be coming out on April 11th, but will be released soon after. It was a tough decision to make, but we felt the Vita version needed some extra time to polish up and we didn't want to delay the other releases further.

The PC version is currently available for pre-purchase on the Humble Store which will give you a Steam copy plus a DRM-free copy. The game will also be available for purchase directly on Steam once it releases.

We will continue to release portions of the game to Steam beta testers in segments as we make final preparations for release. If you are in the beta, please inform us of any bugs you discover to help us ensure a smooth launch.

We're super excited to finally be releasing Cosmic Star Heroine and hope everyone enjoys the finished game! This is by far the biggest, most sophisticated game we've ever released so we hope it meets the high expectations many of you have for it. Thanks again to all the people who have supported us in our Kickstarter, through feedback, and through kind words. We're almost there!

Oh, I'm not on the distribution list for press releases? ;)

Aww. I had such faith that you guys were going to make it simultaneous launch for Vita with all the work you'd been putting in optimizing and how that had made it easier to work on the other consoles etc.

Oh well. The wait continues! But congratulations on the launch date anyway.

That should come around to $20~ CAD, right at the sweet spot! I'll be hurting a bit after Switch+Zelda+Nier, so I might actually work on this before Persona! Too bad Nintendo not getting back to you guys, I'll probably go with the PS4 version.

Robert, are you guys planning any DLC, micro-transactions, or expansions?

Congratulations on the release date announcement!

Excellent news and congrats on upcoming release to Zeboyd. I already got the Humble version but will be double dipping on the PS4/Vita. Going to play CSH on Vita while playing Persona and Nier on PS4.

This is my most anticipated game so far this year outside of Nier (and tied with The Fall Part 2). I'm literally shaking from hype!
Any chance for a late Switch port?

Congrats on the game, I'm sure it will be fantastic. I shall try to pick this up day one, depending on how I'm doing beating everything else I want to play :p

Holy shit. This year has been already crazy stacked and now this was just added into the mix.

At $15 I'll be there day 1 for sure. Loved Zeboyds last 2 games.

One of the last games I Kickstarted (and the most I ever dropped on a single Kickstarter, hah) is finally coming out, yay!

Congratulations for finally reaching the finish line; I know the game will be awesome, hopefully the stress will have all been worth it for you in the end.

So, this is a week after Persona 5, and both were announced for Holiday 2014...

The OT needs to be "Time to party like it's 2014" or something like that. Holiday 2014's second most anticipated JRPG? Or just RPG if you want to throw shade at Dragon Age.
