The game industry seems to have forgotten about tactical shooters, but Ready or Not aims to revive the genre in the modern age. Even in it's early access state, the level of care and detail present rises above plenty of bigger AAA projects. If you're a fan of the SWAT games, namely SWAT 4, and you've been feeling neglected the last couple decades, this is exactly what you've been looking for.

Game's currently on sale, so I picked it up. It's intense af, shooting feels amazing, and AI is generally both a threat and a relief (applies to your teammates also). Also I realized 3 missions in that I shouldn't be a cop in America. I'm not proud to admit how quickly I went from wanting to do everything by the book to only caring about my own and my team's safety (playing on ironman). Shoot the psychos with guns and let god sort them out later.
