Team Ninja has always been known for creating a distinct gravity and physics around the female body, and many other developers have followed in its footsteps. With the sequel, the women fighters of DOA now have independent breast physics which create an asynchronous movement while giving a water balloon sensation to each mammary gland. We s*&# you not. The volleyball engine in the original was attrocious, and anyone saying otherwise is trying to justify the fact they spent time playing the game for anything other than the scantily clad girls. It's clear who the target audience is, and it's going to get an M/18+ rating anyway, so I honestly dont know why Itagaki doesnt go all out and include some nudity.

I'd love to admit the same about the volleyball engine if a better volleyball game existed. Unfortunately Sega's game(Beach Spikers) failed to deliver IMO and it doesn't look like any other developers are interested in making a good Volleyball game so oh well.

Also Itagaki doesn't have to add the nudity, that's usually left up to the hackers. Also last I checked the target audience consisted of people who enjoy fun. Obviously you're not part of this audience.

Again quit derailing the 2006 GOTY(that is not GoW, FFXII, or PSU).

EDIT: Oh and yeah the scantily clad women add to the appeal. Not everyone wants to play a Volleyball game with bald space marine men(note to MS/Tecmo/Epic this would make a great minigame in Gears of War)

The volleyball in both Outlaw Volleyball and Beach Spikers outclasses the volleyball in DOAXBV. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the sequel will be much better in that regard.

Heck Beach Spikers may have already done the flag capture game better than DOAX2

The best part of DOAXBV is the pool hopping game and the music in the casino (which better be back... bling... bling bling... bling bling...) !

Because that would cause the game to be denied a CERO rating, rendering it unsaleable on the Japanese console-game market. Japanese game industry groups are very strict about nudity in console games, and will deny a rating outright to anything with more than rear nudity.
