He's made the xbox desirable again (to normal people who aren't fanboys or previous customers they have disenfranchised). I'd say given where they were in 2013 and the subsequent years that's a massive achievement. It's not just a magic wand where you can suddenly do everything at once, and it's also not instant. Xbox are seeing the fruits of a long term vision starting to take hold.
I say 'starting to take hold', because they aren't quite there yet and there are some customers who they have lost forever as
@Boss Mog describes. It's not been perfect and there have been harsh lessons along the way. They really need those first party IPs to deliver and they are still at least a couple years out, and we don't
really know what to expect from them yet.
Him and his team have done well to arrest the slide, get backing to continue the brand, make the strong acquisitions they have and generate a list of titles that although not delivered have promise. I think you have to respect that, whether you love PS5 or not. It's too early to say what this looks like until ~5 years and we have numbers of units sold, increase in gamepass subs etc. but right now the XSX is sold out which is their flagship console. That's from being dead in the water.
