Horizon Zero Dawn - The Machines Videos

Who is or what is the name of Guerrillas animator, that person or persons are on another level. These machines are moving better than I expected by a factor of 1,000.

Video of the shooting watcher. Not the one with the trophy though. It looks really similar though. Who knows if its counted as one of the 26.

Edit: Yeah i dont think it counts. As they're still called watchers. This is nice, i am guessing there are variations of the different robots then? maybe based on their level?

Yes, we already know some machines have different atributes/attacks but machines that physically look different are different machines imo and count towards the 26 count.

there has always been kind of fluid animation since KZ 2

As soon as I get a PS4 (probably late this year), I am getting this game.

Both this and Zelda are gonna scratch my itch for this type of game something fierce.

kinda off-topic but damn, just got a wave of nostalgia there with these .gifs. That Killzone 2 hype thread leading up to the E3 reveal trailer was a damn good time here. Can't believe it's been 10 years already...

Has there been any talk of Sony or GG releasing model kits for these things? I'd be thrilled to spend hours meticulously putting them together.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it as I didn't click on the list of machines but there is also the other
other ancient war machine that looked like a smaller version of the MAWLR from Killzone 3 but decidedly larger than the Corrupter

Reddit says this seems to be new gameplay. Nothing really that spoilery. Only machines we've seen before, fights among some ruins. Around 11;10, there's a quick glimpse at collectibles in the menus

A bit of climbing/platforming. Don't seem to need yellow/specific ledges to climb

The climbing one of Aloy, she is still tied to grabbing or jumping to certain ledges. They're just white instead of yellow here...Looks like bird shit on the rock face/edge.

Huh. It's super subtle then, or maybe that's just Youtube compression. Personally, none of those ledges seem like "climb-here" ledges, they seem pretty well camouflaged among the rock face without seeming specifically placed for climbing

Yeah, they don't stand out like they did in that one older video where it looked like the rocks were painted.

Are there any gamers here that aren't really into RPG games interested in Horizon?

I suppose it depends on what you mean by RPG and what you dislike about them (if you do).

I'm not a big fan of most big WRPGs because I'm largely combat oriented (some exceptions like Witcher that excel outside of their combat, but largely, it's not something I look forward too). In that regard, there's a few JRPGs I really enjoy primarily on the strength of their combat system.

However, Horizon seems to be putting the combat at the front, so that alone gets me excited for the playground of things it might provide.

I'm interested in it cuz its more like an action 3rd person adventure which the genre I like and cuz it looks gorgeous.

I'm not into RPG at all though I spent like 110 hours in FFXV and about to Platinum it lol maybe cuz I leveled up quickly and was kinda OP before finishing the story otherwise that would've been frustrating for me idk. I think I'll do the same with Horizon and take my time to level up doing side quests and whatnot before I progress more with the story

I love how the world looks... But the AI? Seems a little... terrible? And characters faces look like made of plastic.

Also I hope this is played on easy difficulty.
