Hyperloop One down to 10 Cities - Mexico City/Colorado Focus

i thought that was already happening?

It may have started, but I don't expect them to actually complete it as is.
cost will balloon way past the ballooning they already did, and delays will push the project out far past the expected completion date of 2030 (or whatever it is) and some better tech will distract us all from the medium speed rail they proposed to instead chase some other project we will never complete.

Hyperlooping (assuming it works as promised) from LA to SF in about an hour would be amazing. Add a stop or 2 on the way up to Sac from SF, and then a connection from LA to Vegas, and we are living in the future.

Doesn't hyperloop require a pressurized tube system? How will they pressurize hundreds of miles of large tubing? What happens during a power outage? How long will it actually take to pressurize the tubes?

if anything you want to depressurize for no air resistance
