Heh. My first year going to EGX in Birmingham as well. After going to London EGX for 3 years in a row I skipped last year due to long term relationship ending with the person I used to go with.
This year I'm heading down myself (from Scotland) and I'll meetup with some GAFers and gaming folks I know on Twitter.
I mean they can't stop the guy going there as a public citizen (aka buying a ticket), but giving someone with his latest history and pending lawsuits a booth to sell shit (as well as prime advertisement on the EGX site), oh Eurogamer. Sure innocent until proven guilty, but cmon....
$$$ as usual. I hope he gets some pelters, and while I'm usually someone for keeping the peace, have at it random gamers. These two milked so much money from their young fanbase I ain't "forgiving and forgetting" mere months later like the usual "online outrage culture" that moves from target to target every few days.
