They have the chance to learn from Nintendo's mistake of teasing a new character and then having that character end up as yet another fire emblem character. Multiversus can keep people engaged with new characters for a much longer period of time due to their vault of I.P. being way more massive.

Well apparently that game was pretty broken mechanically.

This game seems to have better core gameplay.

Honestly, the Nickelodeon game is held back by being such a budget game. But Multiversus has the budget the Nickelodeon game doesn't. It also just looks more polished in a variety of ways. Still too early to tell, but if it's handled well, it could do more than fine. Especially as a free to play game.

This is free to play. That means longer legs whether people like it or not.

Also Heimdall_Xtreme , why the insistence to market Smash Bros in each Multiversus thread? No one here is saying we want Smash Bros to die because of this game. Your precious gameplay and userbase of Smash will still exist and be fine while this game is doing its own thing. Both are possible.

The F2P aspect of it made it sound like a cheap effort to me.

Some cool people on this thread are saying that it could be cool mechanic and gameplay wise, specially compared to the Nickelodeon one.

A fun multi-platform smash clone has big potential for all the non-Nintendo users out there.
