Well, that's not why. It's because using optical media doesn't work for a portable system. (UMD was a mistake...)Because it's partially a successor to their handheld consoles which have used cartridges.
It implies it more than not, when has a skin, or specially designed version of a console for a game ever come out when said game wasn't out already? And btw, just because the skin set comes out March 2017 that does not imply the game will too.
That d-pad ain't looking too good...
Isn't this pointless with a built-in kickstand? Unless it comes with a charger or something.

Like all the Pokémon 3DS came out before the games lol...It implies it more than not, when has a skin, or specially designed version of a console for a game ever come out when said game wasn't out already?
Zelda at launch would be huge
Yeah this is disappointing. I believe Wii and Wii U did the same.having to buy a lan dongle... gah... wish they'd just include an ethernet port.
Probably Pokken or Injustice 2.MvC Infinite starting to seem more and more likely.
Who said anything about the official one?*sigh* It's not even the official one.
Why are people seemingly excited to find faults with Nintendo?

I expect Umvc3 & tekken7 at launch. Injustice 2 in May. Smash in juneYeah the biggest news in all of this is the fightstick.
They wouldn't be making this for the Switch if there were no fighting games coming out.
I suspect it's a creature comforts thing. Ie, don't have to look down as much if it's on the raised stand - think of it on a desk in front of you.
This a confirmation folks.
Console launch gonna be a fucking beast
How are supposed to make Switch if the silicon sleeve cover both joycons? lol
Doesn't confirm but it definitely implies. Skins based on a game that isn't even on the console yet would make little sense.
Protector over the screen kills multi touch theories.
Probably Pokken or Injustice 2.
Yeah what's so hard to understand? People want their Switch sitting in front of them and they can change the angles and raise the Switch higher lower for comfort as they play. When you're playing at the park and want to use the Joycon Grip would you want to lean your Switch against something or put it on a sturdy stand?
Would cause some problems as it doesn't have analog triggers for that GC VC.Would be nice if the Wii U Pro Controller worked with it.
SD card size cartridge? RIP my 3ds games case.
And btw, just because the skin set comes out March 2017 that does not imply the game will too.
A car charger... Yep, in my car on Lunch break. This thing is too fucking convenient not to buy
Zelda's confirmed at launch but note that the zelda skin is listed with US currency only.
MvC Infinite starting to seem more and more likely.
Well since you can play games with more than one person on the screen, this stand makes more plausible sense to use to comfortably play games with another. Unlike the default kickstand, it elevates the screen and gives it more viewing range for a second personIsn't this pointless with a built-in kickstand? Unless it comes with a charger or something.

Injustice 2 is in May. And with Street Fighter V being locked to PS4 as far as consoles go, the only options for fighting games at launch are...Injustice 2?
