Yes.

The Half Life 2 unnoptimized beta runs at like 50-60FPS on a 9800PRO @ 1024 X 768.

Just look at the 9800XT score. The 9800Pro will score close to that. Maybe even surpass it if it is overclocked. Although the test is using an AMD 64 3400+ processor.
