Guess this will be a game dominated by pro korean players.
League of Legends to introduce first person mode in 2017.
I don't think so, unless Korea suddenly gets really good at FPS games.
Pretty sure Mei is Chinese. D.va is Korean.Mei putting in work.

Is there a list of most-played characters by country?all because of d.va

Naturally. It's Blizz game after all. This game gets ads on TV too in Korea.
I dont get it. Why is this game so huge there?
I don't really remember South Korea having a long history of FPS
I always thought of it as a form of arcades for them.

Riot To anounce LoL spinoff "League of Legends: Defenders of Piltover" where everybody has guns and technological enhancements and it's played as FPS.
Expect Blitzcrank to always be the MVP of any given match.

It's just not the same FPS games as in the West. Sudden Attack (a CS clone essentially) has been hugely popular for years.

Another update: League of Legends has overtaken Overwatch.
A month ago the gap was over 8% and it looked like Overwatch was gonna run away with it. Seems like Korea has been falling off the game fairly rapidly.
Not to mention that they had an elite cs 1.6 team that won an international event over SK.
Valve got DOTA and now Blizzard has Overwatch. Changing of the guards. I doubt Valve minds that though, DOTA2 is killing with the money, and TF2 is still getting a lot of players, and it's free.

Had one near me in Houston called 4 Gaming. It was great, but required to pay by the hour and went under after a few years. The ultimate dream is a place that merges PC cafes and arcades into one amazing place.
Wait till Sombra is revealed. Then Overwatch will be back to first place.
Given the same population density problems and society standards, if Japan was as into PC gaming as Korea was, there'd be PC Bangs all over the country instead of arcades.
