Number are from the BIU Awards - December isn't out yet.

It's only possible to compare games that were released this year, as BIU awards count only 12 month after release.. So ASSASSIN'S CREED: IV: BLACK FLAG PS3 might have sold more than 100k last year. Destiny or other games might have broke the 200k barrier in december.

December awards should be out in the next week.

I don't know, I was just arguing that these numbers could very well be true and still PS4 did not gain on Xbox One, relatively speaking. It could also be the case that PS4 did increase its market share, or lost some, we just don't know from these numbers.

Captain Toad off to a bad start, not good in 2015 already :/

Coming in at #1 in Germany doesn't look it has a bad start at all. Stop pretending the UK represents Europe as a whole. The UK market doesn't give a flying fart about Nintendo, their performance there is always bad.

Captain Toad most likely did poorly in most other countries as well.

These trends are not exclusive to UK. I can listen a dozen games from different genre's that did well in the UK. WiiU's horrible sales and consequently bad software sales are a problem globally albeit more severe in the UK.

Oh c'mon, there's really no fair way to downplay CT's performance in Germany.
The game getting anywhere near the TOP5 would have been a risky bet, but too see it at the top of the mountain is a huge accomplishment for such a title/protagonist/genre/ on that console even if doesn't actually mean it pushed a lot of copies
