Yeah, sales of Xbone have a potential to slow down a bit now when German retailers are serving only German market.

Goddamn, we knew it was bad for MS on the mainland, but this is a thorough thrashing. MS are being thoroughly trounced...

What has to be most depressing for MS is that they were actually doing pretty well in Germany with the 360.

Depends what you mean by pretty well. They still only had ~22% market share last gen, they've just managed to reduce that down to ~15% this gen (including WiiU, which was at 350k last August and should be well over 400k by now).

Pretty well in that they grew their market share from the OG to 360. Those gains are pretty much being wiped out right now and with German sales no longer getting any additional bump from importers, it's only going to get worse...

Interesting, did XB1 have explosive sales during holiday 2014, like in the US?

Either way, I expect the gap in France is much larger by now.

Xbox France had this last year.

Dat Zlatan & Saint-Germain sponsorship doing its work.

Let us not forget that Scandinavian TierX retailers imported a lot Xbone of consoles from Germany before MS decided they are worthy of receiving official support. So these German sales are not even showcasing true state of Xbone gaming in Germany.

edit - XBone sales arrived in Scandinavia in September of 2014, almost year after launch in US/Tier1 EU countries

Another quiet week means the Top 3 are again unchanged with ‘Mortal Kombat X’ (-32%) taking its 3rd consecutive No1 crown.

It needs one more week at the top to match the 4 week record set by Battlefield Hardline so far in 2015. Despite the lack of new releases the bank holiday weekend sees sales climb 6% across entertainment software. ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+11%) remains at No2 and sees a slight boost in sales while ‘Battlefield Hardline’ (+0%) is static at No3. ‘FIFA 15’ (+16%) climbs a spot to No4 with retailer promotions on the Xbox 360 500GB FIFA hardware bundle driving the rise in sales. ‘Minecraft: Playstation Edition’ (-4%) is down to No5 but stays ahead of a resurgent ‘Dying Light’ (+79%) up two places to No6.
‘Minecraft: Xbox Edition’ (+7%) slides a place to No7 despite a slight increase in sales ahead of ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ (+15%) at No8. ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ (+33%) climbs five places to No9. ‘WWE 2K15’ (+5%) is a non-mover rounding off the top 10 for a second week.
