Platinum's Turtles game delisted from Steam, PSN and Xbox

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, developed by action game specialist Platinum and published by Activision, went on sale under a year ago, in May 2016.

And so the delisting comes as some surprise for a game that's been available to download for just under eight months.

It appears Activision's on something of a licensed game purge. People have noticed The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel have been removed from digital stores, too.

While these games have been snuffed out of existence online, you can always pick up a physical copy. Turtles is going for around £20 on Amazon, for example.

Lock if old.

The situation with Bond was even worse. Acti dumped the licence at the beginning of 2013 despite 007 Legends releasing less than three months earlier and there being two years remaining on the contract.

Even better, Legends can't be finished on the PS360 anymore because the (free) Skyfall DLC is apparently taken of the stores and the game is incomplete without it. There is the WiiU version however that includes it.
Game is still trash though.

Ah, so that's why Acti added it to the game's subs on Steam. I'd always just assumed that it was a gesture of goodwill. Was the game ever available on PSN/XBL? I wonder if those who bought the digital version were granted the DLC.

Why remove it?

Because Fuck Activision. They're never getting my money ever again. Couldn't they warn us a week in advance, preferably when this shit was on sale everywhere on Christmas?!!! I don't give a FUCK if the license expired. Boo hoo. Motherfucking WARN US! Have the goddamn courtesy for those supporting your fucking company for 20+ years.

Fuck Activision. Fuck them up their shell. I always wanted to try this game out, and I've gone full digital this year, but was reluctant to pay full price ($79.99!!!!) due to bad reviews. So fuck them for this stunt. Had I known, I would've bought it last week...

Makes you wonder how long Activation is going to make/publish those bad license games. Is there a market for that? Maybe in the past on consoles, but nowadays?

I'm pretty sure that you can still download it if you have bought it. Many games have been delisted, but are still available for download own a digital copy.

EDIT: Read the post again and i see that the complaint is that you havnt bought it. Fair enough.

I assume the physical version will increase in value then.

Though I still have no desire to buy it.

Activision canned their licensing division. TMNT seems to be their final licensed game.

Eh...I should have bought Transformers:Devastation when it went on sale.

Transformers games haven't gone yet. They should be safe for another year.
