Is it time we start begging for MS games to NOT come to PC?
You forgot to talk about the lack of quit button.
Microsoft is botching these ports on purpose at this point, so it forces people to buy the Xbox One. It was their plan all along guys!

This is the most disturbing of all, IMO.
Makes me wonder how QA could miss that, unless it wasn't QA'd.
Haha
I love you guys.
The resolution thing reminds me of unmodded Dark Souls 1 on PC.
I don't know if I should be disappointed at Remedy or MS.
ki's game logic is tied to he monitor refresh rate. it's unplayable at anything other than 60hz.What other UWP games have been a shitshow and for what reasons?

gears has massive performance issues.
minecraft's uwp version doesn't support any minecraft mods.
Which will be frustrating if they don't eventually cave in some way on how closed UWP is (or alternatively someone just blows it completely open and they can't do crap.) Ports like this could probably be fixed one way or the other, but as of now it's just lame.
U4 games still run like mess on PC for the most part.Scale bound is unreal 4 so I wouldn't be TOO worried
Still looks blurry for me, especially the hair and the NPC on the background.
They should release working ports, then UWP would matter way less. Wanting it to be open so that others can fix releases games is just messed up.
This is starting to feel like GFWL all over again.
So far Microsoft has shown they care exactly as much about PC gaming as they have in the past. Which is next to none.Yeah the UWP games have been total shitshows, you'd think Microsoft would care considering they're the ambassadors to UWP for pc gamers but nope apparently not.
welcome to the app based futureMinecraft on PC.. without mods...
He's a god damn lieutenant!
I forget if he gets promoted or something. Actually I'm not even sure which is higher.
Because it is basically the same
In an ideal world every game would work great and flawlessly and we'd have a setup for every game to allow whatever mods we'd want without opening the door to potential piracy. They should release working ports, then UWP would matter way less. Wanting it to be open so that others can fix releases games is just messed up.

don't worry i'm sure they'll get mods working once they can charge for them
Those wishing remedy to port this game to steam...isn't the IP owned by Microsoft?
At this rate I'm never buying a game from Microsoft Store. Such a trainwreck.
Wonder what Phil has to say about this.
I would have thought PC ports would be easy for them. I guess not, what a shame.

Right, I kinda forgot about UWP not supporting mods.
Well, they have games like Halo Assault and Age of Empires on Steam, and Ori.
Maybe later, way later, I guess.
He'll make a great speech, as usual.
Should've posted one with matching dithering artifacts... complete the cycle!thisisbullshit.gif not immediately posted? You're slipping, GAF.
I still don't know who to blame as I feel it can't be all of UWP/UWA for the performance of this game looking at other games.
I'm glad I didn't bother "upgrading" to Windows 10 just for this like I was planning to. I'll stick with 8.1 for now until shit is sorted out.
So this is straight up bullshit
£5 commitment to PC Gaming tax I guess
