Except that game scored a 67 on Metacritic. Rocket League has a 85 on Metacritic. Clearly SSARBC wasn't as good of a game.

Well looking at youtube footage it looks like a carbon copy. The only thing thats different is the ball physics afaik.

The problem is that the initial release had a lot of troubles, that's why it scored poorly but Psyonix improved the game and fixed many problems throughout the years, their support is impressive. The biggest problem with SARPBC was that it didn't have dedicated servers.

The system works. I'm glad that they have had such success. Rocket League is just a fantastic game
